Visit Easy Pete about TNT

"Where does this Easy Pete live?" Madeline asked one day while in Goodsprings, after finishing up some pancakes "I hear he has lots of knowledge of explosives. Might be handy in the wastes."

"Well--he normally hangs out just out side--otherwise you can find his house not too far away. Just finish your meal then go look for him. He used to be a prospector--just a fancy word for scavenger. But he raises Big Horners now. If you can impress him with some explosive knowledge then that will be helpful." Trudy nodded and bid Madeline a good day, Madeline was soon out the back door of the saloon.

Just like Trudy said Easy Pete was outside in rocking chair. The old grizzled man looked like his skin was tanned leather it was so dark. A simple hat on his head and overalls gave him the quaint-essential cowboy farmer feeling.

"Well good day little lady." the old man said with a welcoming grin.

"Easy Pete right?" Madeline asked shyly.

"That's me. Who's asking?"

"My name is Madeline."

"A pleasure to meet ya" he grinned "What can this old farm hand do fer ya today?"

"I've been traveling for some time. Always like to learn what I can along the road. Word has it that you know your way around some explosives and have a stash somewhere. Might be helpful to have such information and any...spare explosives for my trip north to Vegas. Powder gangers about--can't be too careful. Any explosives you could help with might be a real game changer." Madeline leaned against a nearby column hopeful for a positive response.

"Hmmmmmm" He grimaced "I got plenty of explosives hidden away that is true." He looked Madeline up and down.

"But thing is I don't just give em away to anyone--even good people." He explained "See I don't want to give you or any folks some explosives to just go off and blow yourselves up. Seen too many well intention'ed fools not know how to use a stick of dynamite and they just get them and all them around em killed."
