Kill Easy Pete

Everyone knew Easy Pete had a stash of dynamite hidden away somewhere. If Madeline could at least prevent the Goodspringers from having this arsenal it would be better than nothing. So Madeline decided to make sure Easy Pete's secret stash went with him to the grave.

It wasn't hard to find Easy Pete walking on the outskirts of town--no way she could kill him as he rocked on the front porch of the Saloon--that would be suicide. But...one day as Easy was moving slowly through a rocky outcrop Madeline was able to shoot him--in the back of course. Couldn't be too sensitive when bushwhacking. She fired an extra round just to make sure--then crept off back toward town a different way than she had gone.

Easy Pete's body was found the next day and a posse was put together to find the culprit--suspicion also narrowed on any new comers and some travelers were even rejected from passing thru town--hopefully they were taken by the Gangers as they skirted the town. But in any event--that was explosive power that Goodsprings couldn't use against Madeline and her Gangers.
