Which One Piece character will find the book and how?
Usopp (post time skip)
"Hey, Robin. Everything alright up here?"
"Oh. Hello, Usopp. I'm doing fine this afternoon. What brings you to the library?"
It was not uncommon for the Straw Hat Pirates' archaeologist to spend time within this section of the ship. The room was peaceful, and high above the general uproar caused by Luffy's antics on the deck below. A cup of tea rested on a saucer and tray next to the raven-haired woman as she sat on the bench.
Usopp, in comparison, was a rarer sight there. The younger man entered the library and gave her a friendly wave, which she returned in kind.
"Just searching for a book about mechanics. I'm working on a few Dials in the workshop, and wondered if we had any reading material about them. There's still a lot about Skypeian technology that I don't understand." He said.
The weather was great today. The sun shone brightly, its rays casting a warm blanket over the Thousand Sunny as it sailed across the ocean, allowing the crew to play to their hearts' delight. Luffy and Chopper were playing a game on the deck, having somehow roped Zoro into it. All the while Nami sunbathed and Sanji provided her with food and drink, accompanied by Brook's music and Jimbei's laughter.
Franky remained in the workshop, doing maintenance on some components of General Franky. Usopp initially declined playing with Luffy and Chopper, and worked on his own projects. Alas, he'd run into an obstacle and needed help.
Robin tapped her chin in contemplation. "Hmm. I cannot recall seeing any books about Dials. But I visited a small bookstore on the last island we visited. The owner was selling bundles of books on all subjects. There might be something in the bundle of tomes I bought at a discount. They're over there, by the window to your left."
"Thanks! Maybe this time I won't accidentally activate a flamethrower Dial and torch Franky's blueprints."
"Let's hope so." Robin giggled. "Franky was rather cross with you, if I recall correctly."
"You could say that again." Said Usopp, rubbing the back of his neck.
The stack of books was right where she said they would be. Usopp walked over to the assortment of books, and began browsing through them. Almost every genre was accounted for; fiction or non-fiction, medicinal books for Chopper, cooking books for Sanji, and so on.
Not a lot about Dials, sadly. But the nifty devices were rather rare. Usopp couldn't remember seeing them outside of Skypiea despite the many diverse places the crew had visited during their travels. A shame. He still owned a few broken ones down in the workshop. Not even Franky could get them to work. Hence why Usopp tried the library for answers.
One book stood out, though.
Usopp regarded it curiously. It wasn't big nor thick. More akin to a diary, really. His suspicions seemed all the more realistic as he opened it, finding plenty of empty pages. There were even two loops that contained a pencil.
Flicking through the pages, he returned to the front page and paused. Someone had written in cursive, golden letters there.
The Book Of Reality
The power to change anything you want! Whatever is written in this book will become reality, bending the laws of the universe with the stroke of a pen. Any changes will be instantaneous , and only the holder will be aware of these, unless specified otherwise. To undo a wish, simply write it out of existence.
Usopp couldn't help but chuckle. Change reality itself? Bending the laws of the universe? That sounded like a lie even he wouldn't come up with. And there was no better liar aboard this ship!
It would be a cool ability to have, though. Usopp often imagined himself possessing a special ability, like a Devil Fruit or form of Haki.
His plants were cool and all, but more finite compared to Zoro's sword attacks, Robin's many limbs, or Luffy's rubber body. Being able to alter reality would be an overpowered ability, to say the least! He'd finish fights before they even started, or give himself and his friends an overwhelming advantage.
Several perverse ideas came to mind, too. Usopp couldn't help it. He was a young man in the prime of his youth, and lived aboard a ship carrying two of the most beautiful women in the world. Not to mention all the attractive pirates, marines, and princesses the Straw Hats had met during their journey. Sanji's dream of stepping into the women's baths while invisible was but one of many that the book could achieve.
"I mean, there's nothing wrong in trying it out. Right?" Muttered the sniper quietly to himself.
"What was that?"
He flinched. "Uh, nothing! Just talking to myself while I'm looking. Sorry if I'm being too loud."
"It's alright." Robin responded, as she turned back to her own reading material.
Usopp hummed softly as he retrieved the pencil that came with the book. He still didn't fully believe the worth of this thing, but he wasn't making any progress on finding info about Dials, so he just played along. If anything, the book might be useful to play pranks on Luffy.
Glancing at Robin, a somewhat pervy idea came to mind. Usopp chuckled in embarrassment as he wrote down his first wish.
Robin likes to read in the library while wearing a string bikini. She doesn't mind when people stare at her.
Sheesh. Talk about a stupid rule. Usopp already felt mortified for even writing such a thing. It was one of those impulse things, when you did something before your mind could even catch on. He shrugged. He could always erase--
Usopp's eyes widened as the text suddenly faded away. What the hell! Was this paper special somehow, like a Vivre Card? Or was it the pencil? Regardless, Usopp felt both surprised and impressed by the lengths at which someone had fabricated an elaborate prank like this.
Or, could it be...?
He turned around, and his jaw practically dropped down to the floor.
Still sitting there, a book in one hand and a teacup in the other, was Nico Robin clad in the most scandalous outfit she'd ever worn before. The flimsy piece of fabric could barely pass for a bikini at all!
The strings kept her large breasts in place, yet some of her aureole sneaked past, and Usopp could have sworn he saw the outline of her nipples. Robin's bare skin looked oh-so smooth as well. The two straps traveled down to her crotch, which was barely concealed by the flashy outfit. He couldn't see what it looked like from back because she was seated at the moment sadly. No doubt the bikini was wedged in between her bountiful ass cheeks.
She noticed him staring, and smiled rather than cover herself up.
"Is something wrong?" Asked Robin obliviously.
"N-Nope! Just that you look amazing today."
"Why, thank you." She said, flashing him a kind smile.
As well as a lot of boob. Side-boob, cleavage, under-boob-- a lot of boob in general! Enough to make Usopp's blood flow freely toward his crotch. He shook his head, and averted his eyes. It was very, very difficult to do so.
Okay. So, the book worked. It actually worked!
Usopp looked at the magical item as if he'd found religion. Numerous possibilities, desires, and fantasies almost overwhelmed the long-nosed sniper. But whatever he settled on, it would be wonderful no doubt!
What's next?
