Usher's guns and ammo.

After leaving the stables, Lisa looked up and down main street to figure out where to go next. Across the street was a small store front with a faded sign. Lisa could just make out the writing on the sign. It read "Usher's Guns & Ammo."

Lisa crossed the street. She was about to enter when a thought occurred to her. She spent the next several minutes removing the cartridges from the recovered revolvers and gun belts. She then entered the store.

Lisa was greeted by a foul smelling, middle aged man. He was balding and had several strands of hair combed over in a vain effort to hide the bald patch. He leered at Lisa all the way from the door to the counter.

"Hey there li'l lady." He said extending a hand. "Names Harry Usher. What can I do to please you?"

"Lisa Bennet." Lisa said taking his offered hand.

The hand was sweaty and Lisa regretted taking it. Also Usher seemed unwilling to release his hold on her. Lisa finally snatched her hand back.

"I've got some revolvers and gun belts that I want to sell." Lisa told Usher. "I'd also like a cleaning kit for the winchester and a box of cartridges."

Lisa placed the recovered revolvers and belts on the counter. Usher placed a winchester cleaning kit on the counter and checked out the revolvers.

"I'll give you $40 and the cleaning kit for the revolvers. Got no cartridges."

Lisa sighed heavily, begining to understand how things worked in Deadneck.

"Add another $20 and its a deal." Lisa countered.

Usher looked over the revolvers again.

"Ok li'l lady. You got a deal." Usher said again offering Lisa his hand. "I shake on all my deals."

Lisa looked at the hand in disgust. For a moment Lisa considered not going thru with the deal. She then swallowed and shook the offered hand. Again Usher held Lisa's hand longer than she liked and again she snatched it back.

Usher turned to get Lisa her money. As he did so, Lisa wiped her hand on her pants leg. Usher turned back and counted $60 into Lisa's hand. Lisa stiffled a yawn as he did so. Feeling tired and dirty Lisa wanted a bath and a bed.
