Use the path with the vines and rotten crops

You continue with your original plan and you walk through the patch with vines and overgrown rotten crops.

However, there is a moment, when you can't move forward without stepping into the vines and rotten crops, you may fall or something can grab you from below.

You notice a dry branch close to the path, that you can use to be sure that you step on solid ground, or you can avoid the breach and continue blindly.
