Unload and unpack

“Lets be responsible adults and unload and unpack first, we might need a few days to explore based on how big this place is. 40 rooms in the main part of the mansion alone.” Mark could tell Hellen wanted to explore yet did the responsible thing. He was happy the large amount of money hadn’t changed her, not yet at least.

Mark opened the van while Hellen grabbed the master key to open the front door. He brought some of the boxes up to the front door so Hellen could carry them inside, while he went to get some more. Once inside they realised that it looked smaller from the outside, which was already massive. The front hallway was a open area with a fountain in the centre and not one but two grand staircases leading to the second floor. The floor was of course made of marble as were the stairs.

To the left hand they saw a living room through the open doors. They placed the boxes down and looked at what they had, Mark’s boxes were Living room boxes while Hellen’s were bedroom stuff.

“Ill go upstairs and find us a nice bedroom and unpack there, while you start unpacking in the living room?” she suggested. “Race to see who is done first?”

Mark sniggered, “Sure, winner gets to decide what’s for dinner.”

Hellen bolted up the stairs with her boxes and started looking for a room. Mark picked up his boxes as he heard her yell “This library is massive! Fuck I went the wrong way, where are the bedrooms?!”

Mark let her figure that out by herself, he wasn’t going to help her win their little game.

Mark enters the curtained living room and plopped the boxes down. The living room was somewhat dated and dusty but looked fine. It was mostly the size that mark noticed, it was bigger than their entire appartement. He opened the boxes and started getting to work. They didn’t have much of trinkets with them however they did have some photo frames and some of Hellen’s books that she kept close to the tv whenever she didn’t feel like watching what was on. Mark noticed the two big sofas in the room that were opposite of the large flatscreen tv and the singular sofa facing the fireplace. He was in love with the living room. It was spacious and comfortable at the same time. Whenever they used to cozy up together they would have to squeeze on their small couch but now they could both lay on it without feeling restricted. As he started unpacking the first box, in it he found one of the photos of him, his wife and their shared friend Sam. Mark knew it had to be one of the first things they would place in their new home as it would truly mark the mansion as theirs. Hellen would probably not even notice it or think of it that way but for him it meant enough to be important. He walked over to a table and noticed it was layered with dust.

A debating frown formed “I can’t just put it in the dust, can I?”

He walked to the cupboards. Surely they had to have a rag close by for this, he thought. He opened multiple cupboards finding one filled with glasses, one empty and the last contained a pile of fabrics. He grabbed hold of it thinking he found what he was looking for only to pull out a tiny frilly and lacey apron with the words Fifi embroidered on them.

“What the…, no way” mark muttered as he pulled out the rest of an entire skimpy maids outfit including lacey underwear. He leaded it out on the sofa and just stared at it with a confused look on his face. Wondering if he should hide it or show his wife. They had had fun in the bedroom before with cheap roleplaying outfits bought from Wish and looked at the more expensive ones at the sex shop, however this was leagues further in quality. He decided in the end that hiding it would be stupid and a waste. Secretly he also hoped his wife might feel adventurous enough to wear it for him after they settled in.

He grinned as he thought of something cheesy and a way to lighten the discovery of this sexual find. He would wear the headpiece while holding the dress to show his wife what he had found. She would get a giggle from it and they would put it away for later. He grabbed the headpiece and clipped it onto his short hair tightly enough to stay put. As he was about to go towards his wife his eyes fell on the small white gloves that were part of the outfit. He thought the entire outfit wouldn’t even fit and take too much time however the gloves would be an easy add to the joke. He put them on and was surprised they fit easily around his hands. He grabbed the feather duster and looked over to the table.

“I suppose this will have to do for now.” Shrugging before dusting off the cupboard.

After he was happy with the cleanliness of the cupboard he placed the photo on top and turned yet again towards the outfit. It wouldn’t hurt to put it on himself right? The fabric looked strong and it would really get his wife to laugh. He envisioned her reaction and could only smirk before shaking the thoughts out of his head. He couldn’t do it as it was just too much. He went to the boxes seemingly forgetting he still had the headpiece and gloves on. He placed a few more items and cleaned another cupboard off yet his thoughts were with the dress. ‘It does look like it would be fun to wear.’ The fabric looks really smooth and comfortable. His head turned back to the sofa where the dress lay. He bit his lip and looked at the door listening whether or not his wife was close. When he heard her faint footsteps in the master bedroom he decided what he would do.
