Tyra and Lila boarded a ship with men heaving boxes and ropes across the deck. They had just left the local tavern, a place they visited at Tyra's request and Lila's dismay. Tyra was proud to say that she drunk to the point of enjoyment and not intoxication. She took Lila under her arm and walked her to the front of the ship, pointing towards the sea horizon.

“You’re home is in that direction, yes?” said Tyra.

“Yes,” said Lila, “But are you sure it’s not out of your way?”

“Honey,” said Tyra, “The entire ocean is my way. I don’t exactly have a port of call.”

“Oh, okay,” said Lila.

Tyra was confident with every step she took on this ship, mainly because it was her ship and this was her crew. They had been pirating across these seas for a while and there was almost nothing that could surprise them. The same could not be said for Lila who seemed to shudder each time one of the burly crew members shuffled anywhere near her. Tyra sighed and grabbed her by the shoulder.

“Honey, you just took down a dark lord,” said Tyra, “You shouldn’t be scared of anyone anymore!”

“I guess so,” said Lila, “Yeah! I won’t be scared anymore!”

Tyra smiled. Though she normally was against forming attachments she had grown fond of the wizard girl. She closed her eyes, knowing she could rest easy when the girl was back at her home where it was safe and sound. They could go their separate ways and nothing about Tyra’s life had to change.

“As fun as it was to save the world, I think pirating is still my call in life,” said Tyra, “Can’t wait to get back to it!”

"Are you sure?" asked Lila, "Saving the world if kind of a big deal. People know us now, right? Don't you think you could get... a safer line of work now?"

"Honey, as great as that would be, glory will only go to the people who look the part," said Tyra, "Look at Angelica. She took up the mantle of hero in all ways. She smiles for the crowds, has catchphrases, the whole works! But people like me, we ain't good for the crowds. You're not gonna find too many kings and queens that'll admit a pirate saved the world. But you, you could've totally been up there with them! Cute girl like you would've been adored!"

"Yeah but..." said Lila, "I don't like crowds. And I wanted to show you my home..."

Tyra smiled at her. While Lila certainly wasn't her protegee, she definitely felt proud of what the little wizard had achieved. And they could afford to live off of the generous kingdom funded paycheck Angelica had given them. She could take a bit of a pleasure voyage with someone she could stand to be around.

"All right then," she said, "Hoist the sails! Get ready to weigh anchor!"

The men on the sip answered with enthusiasm, climbing up the masts and undoing knots. The white sails unfurled and billowed proudly in the strong sea winds. Tyra looked upon her vessel, almost prideful of showing off something that was hers to a guest. She proudly walked up to the wheel of the ship, ready to sail back into her normal life. But before she could call for them to weigh anchor, a light enveloped her.

Tyra blinked as her eyes adjusted to the bright sun of the beach. She treaded lightly upon the sand. She had walked on many beaches before, but none felt like this one. It felt off somehow. Soon she would realize there were more obvious signs of that when she turned around and saw her previous party members and the dark lord standing before her.

“Uhh…” she said, “I’m pretty sure I didn’t drink that much last night.”

“Tyra?” asked Christina, “I thought you were long gone!”

“So did I!” said Tyra, “I thought I’d never have to lay eyes on you goody two-shoes again! That goes doubly for mister darkness over there! What happened?”

“Welcome to the show!” said Helga, “All will be explained soon, but first, a little bit about you! Tyra was a pirate who grew up impoverished and with **** but to turn to crime! She became famous for her ability to navigate the sea with ease and her abilities with flintlocks. Angelica hired her so they could travel by boat. Though she saw it as nothing more than a job at first, she ended up getting pulled into the whole adventure to slay the dark lord!”

“Yeah, that all seems right,” said Tyra, “But I still don’t know what’s happening.”

“Moving on to contestant number five!” said Helga, ignoring Tyra.
