Two Days

It's not long before Shade leads you to a room with a big enough table for the four of you to sit around. As you enter the room you look around, seeing a few random thug-like guards standing around, some snorting the red dust substance, a handful sitting around doing nothing while many others are talking and chatting it up. The entire time though, your eyes scoured the area, looking at the unseen parts, seeing those dark armor wearing assassins waiting in the shade to pounce if needed.

"Sooo..." Shade let's out as he pulls a chair out to sit down at it. Immediately after three women move out from a door carrying trays which hold mugs full of some liquid as well as tiny little plates with that same very red sand like substance. "Let's hear it?" he asks as the three woman each set a tray down by each of you three, leaving him without anything. The entire time he's sitting down, talking casually he's got that same three inch dagger twirling magnificently between his fingers, showcasing his skill with a dagger.

"We're good." you say, motioning that you and your Sunrider's don't need any drinks or any other type of substance.

"N-Now Darien!" Zoe let's out "Let's not be rude..." she replies as her finger pokes at the pile of red dust on the small plate before her "W-We shouldn't just deny his gift!" she dabs her finger into the red sand, it coating her index finger as she brings it to her eyes and tries to study it over.

Lexie just denies it, knowing she doesn't want to drink anything or do any type of substance as it may effect her child "Water please?" she requests which is almost immediately brought to her in a mug.

"Listen Shade, I need a favor from you..." you start, also pushing your tray full of booze and dust aside "I just came from Rathkin and they said war was coming to the Syndicate." you pause, looking at the expression from Shade who stays unmoving "I'm curious if you know what Rathkin is planning on doing and if you don't know, if you know somebody that would?" you ask.

At the same time Zoe takes the red dust-like substance and puts it in the palm of her hand, looking at it as if she's trying to study it. "It's just..." she mumbles to herself as she brings it closer to her face. She sniffs her nose, inhaling the scent but doesn't smell anything "doesn't smell like anything..." she continues talking to herself as she brings the pile of red dust even closer to her nose before inhaling again. It was too close now though, as a good portion of that red dust goes right up her nose. "Ahhh..." she yelps out as her other hand rubs her nose "Oopsie!" she looks at you wide eyed "Oh noooo..." her body already starting to feel the effects of the **** entering her bloodstream. "Ooohh!" she exhales.

You give Zoe a stern look and shake your head before looking back over at Shade. He leans back in his chair as his hand goes up and rubs his chin, his eyes wander around the room, looking between Lexie, yourself and Zoe before going up to the ceiling and staring at the rusted and old chandelier above him. "I'm sure that's not a problem." he begins "I have my ways, have my eyes and ears." he let's out "But what's in it for me?" he asks, giving you a smile.

"I think we should help him!!!" Zoe laughs out loud "Just..." her hand dips into the red dust again and "This stuff is..." she says, her body already getting even more jittery. Then she takes her finger that's covered in the dust and brings it to her mouth. Her tongue pokes up licking up the substance without any hesitation.

You continue to ignore Zoe as you take a few moments to study Shade "What do you think?" you ask "What's that worth to you?"

"Ya know..." Shade begins, that dagger moving in quick circles around his index and middle fingers with grace "You give a whore some gold and she's happy." he shrugs "You give a junkie a hit and he'll bow to you." Shade continues "You give a lonely person some cunt and he'll serve you." his face forms a grin "But what do you give somebody who has everything he could want?" he asks you while he leans forward in his chair.

You lean forward in your chair, mimicking the action that Shade just did "That's why I'm here. I'm asking for information and I'm curious what you want for it." you question "Assuming you can even find that information out."

"W-What is this!!!" Zoe yelps "I'm like...I"m like...this is! What is going on!!!!" Zoe is yelling now "Do you, do you, do you think?"

"God damnit, Zoe." You quickly reach over and grab the plate by Zoe, removing the rest of the substance from Zoe's grasp "Enough!" you say as she tries the grab the plate back from you.

"B-B-But, Darien!!!" she says "I'm just being nice, I'm being sweet. I'm being nice. I'm being me! Why do you do this! Why, why, why!!!" she says "Shade is being nice and he's got gifts and you sit here and yell and yell and scream and yell and yell and scream and yell!" she nods her head "Just..." she leans forward, trying to grab the plate of snuff from you "It's, it's...just, just just!!!" she pleads. "I'm being nice! Just accepting a gift!!"

Good lord that **** is something else. She only just inhaled a small portion not too long ago and her already energetic personality is about ten times that now. Lexie stands up and moves over to Zoe and pulls a chair up next to her and wraps her arms around her "Zoe..." she whispers into her body which she can only shiver and hold her back. Lexie strokes the top of Zoe's head like she's an animal trying her best to calm her down.

"Just tell me what you'd like from me..." you veer your attention to Shade.

"Okay." he says "Some day, I will be threatened. I don't know by who, by what or by where" he lets out, his dagger still twirling between "But when that happens I will ask you for your help." he tilts his head "I send word and you will come, with an army, to decimate anything." he says.

"Can..Can I get some more?!" Zoe yelps out, trying to push herself away from Lexie "If I get more we'll say yes! I'll say yes! This is...Whoaaaaaaa" her head goes in circles as Lexie holds her tight. "I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, so full of energy! I just want, I just want to like, I just want to like....Mphf mphf mphf..." Lexie clasps her hand over Zoe's mouth, muffling her words as she continues to talk into it. Lexie laughs out loud as the Sunrider is just going a thousand miles per second with energy.

"You've been nothing but helpful towards me, Shade. If you can get the information I'm asking for, I'll gladly help you out when needed. Although, I won't be able to do that anytime soon if something happens." you let him know "If the Syndicate wants to start war, I can't supply any troops right now as I need to focus on that. After the war is over, if you ever request help, if you ever need my assistance, I will be there as soon as I can." you nod "But I can't help you, can't send warriors or Sunrider's until after this incoming war from Rathkin."

"Fair enough." Shade replies instantly "I'll get you the information you desire and after the war, if I ever require your help, I expect you by my side."

You stand up, moving around the table and walking towards Shade "Deal." you hold your hand out, waiting to hold his grip in acceptance.

"Give me two days" he grins at you as he stands up and grips your hand. "I will have the answers you seek. In the mean time," he looks at Zoe, her eyes as wide as can be, her pupils already starting to dilate, her body shivering with sensation "Enjoy the pleasures of Loner's Reach." he let's out a chuckle "Whatever you want, it's on me. Enjoy..."
