Twin Blades (Fighter) (Nuetral Good)

Looking around at the weapons in the room excites you. You are familiar with nearly every one of them, although far from an expert in any. This could outfit a brute squad, or a small company of mercenaries such as yourself. It takes some time after you begin inspecting the craftsmanship of each individual weapon before you remember the enormity of the task before you; finding a way out of here. Looking back around the barred gate, you think you have an answer. Atop the arch of the gate is what looks like some sort of noble crest, complete with decorative shield with two swords behind it. Above either mirror is a similar crest, but with a sword missing.

You turn back and find a perfectly mirrored pair of broadswords among the menagerie of other weapons. Grabbing them from the wall, you step on the tip of your toes in order to put each in the place, completing the look on all three fixtures. As the second one is snugly affixed into its scabbard, you hear a mechanical lock open. The bars of the gate are slowly moved down by what sounds to be a metallic chain, similar to a castle's drawbridge. You stand still until the gate is completely down and the chains stop, giving all indication that it will remain open before you remove the swords and shield from above one of the mirrors. Before you make your escape, you make a quick grab for a dagger and crossbow as well. Better for you to be fully outfitted, and penance for whoever put you in here.

Finally going through the gate, you become a little disoriented. Even with your demonic eyesight, you can't see a single thing, as there's not a drop of light anywhere. You put your hand against the wall to the side, to be sure you're not walking into one by accident. As you walk along, the hard cobblestone begins to shift suddenly, into rough cut wooden planks. Light comes in all at once, surprisingly, but when it does, you find yourself exactly where you belong, and where you last remember being.

The name of the establishment: The Hall of Dead Kings, gave it far more pomp and respect than it rightly deserved, but that had been the point of the gnome who established it. It's really just a tavern, one that had over time became the exclusive venue for mercs like yourself. Accepting, rather than fighting this, the owner bought the adjoining buildings and turned it into a small guild, with membership requirements and the lot. Fortunate, in fact, as the mercs here were about the only thing the citizens could rely on for safety.

Among the small group of faces was the bounty representative; the people of the town of Flotsam would come to him with problems that needed to be fixed, and be the intermediary with the mercs who could fix those problems. This provided you and the others some anonymity and peace from being constantly hounded in person, and helped prevent them from being accosted by crass and corrupt mercenaries looking for an fee for their work. You're hard on cash for the moment, so you're going to need to talk to him soon.

On the other hand, there's a strange and beautiful face, with a similarly lovely body, that doesn't seem to belong here. Unarmed and unprotected, with no scars to show, she hardly seems like the mercenary or bounty hunting type.
