Train in the School First! (Trainer School Part II)

"Alright, I'll start with the top two trainers." You agree to train in the school and with the teacher stepping aside you make your way to the arena. There are a number of small areas to battle here with all three stages in use at the moment you stop to watch. Two of the three girls are battling one another, as safe bet, you guess, to avoid being used by their classmates. The third is less lucky as she is battling a losing battle against one of her male classmates just next to her friends. Further down a couple of the boys are cheering and you draw closer.

The two boys battling on stage both have powerful looking Abra, each is attacking the other back and forth doing their best to weaken their opponents. You glance up at the digital scoreboard to your left and find that the young men on stage are the top two trainers in this school. Their win loss ratio being far greater than any of their other classmates. You begin to wonder at what you have gotten yourself into when the one Abra feints and you see the victor declared. The young man cheers and moves in to shake hands with his opponent, the number one rank slides slightly higher on the score board. Jared has won against the other man, who must be Alex. You see them step away to heal their Pokémon and you approach.

"Um... excuse me." The two men turn their heads to look at you as they heal their Pokémon on the small system the school comes equipped with. Out of the corner of your eye, you see the one girl being led to the bathrooms by the man she lost to. You feel bad for her and swallow deciding to do what you can to win here. "The teacher asked me to challenge each of you." You speak feigning more confidence than you feel.

The two smile conspiratorially at you. You shudder a bit at the look you're getting. And Alex? the man who just lost speaks up. "Sure I'll accept your challenge. But if I win I'm going to have you in the bathroom. Sound good?" You shudder, loss would likely mean something sexual, and another day staying in the city would mean your Journey would slow. You swallow your pride and agree.

"I'm in!"
