Cakewalk.

The two of you make your way up onto the third stage as once more the crowd of young men gather to watch you battle. You ready yourself take a deep breath and stepping forward you send forth your Pokémon.

"Go Turtwig!" The young man smiles and send out his own Pokémon.

"Go Abra!" There is only a brief pause before you shout out again.

"Turtwig vine whip!" Turtwig begins to rush forward obeying your actions when Alex responds.

"Abra. Evade with a Teleport and follow up with Hidden Power!" Turtwig's vines harmlessly bash the ground under where Abra once was. Then before you can react Hidden Power launches a ball of condensed energy directly into your Turtwig. There is a cloud of dust but then the cloud passes Turtwig seems largely unbothered. You smile. It seems his hidden power is fighting type. You leap into action.

"Turtwig Vine whip!"

"Abra do it again!" He'd fallen right for your trap. His Abra teleported and before he could fire of his attack you shout.

"Turtwig turn and grab him with your vines!" Turtwig spins at high speed his vines whipping forward, grabbing a startled Abra and slamming the Pokemon into the stage. When the dust clears Abra lies **** and you are declared the victor. Both you and Alex head to the nearby healing booth and have your Pokemon restored.

You turn filled with far more confidence toward Jared. "You up for a battle now? You ask." Jared smiles.

"Same rules?" You nod.

"Deal!"
