Train Intelligence (using time)

You elect to pay the fee over successive days, dedicating yourself to bettering your mind. You spend time browsing through the shelves, which have very little discernible organizational system. The only one you can discern is that all books by a single author are next to each other, but there seems to be no rhyme or reason behind the placement of an author. The next time you enter the anteroom after that you ask the librarian. "Oh, they're arranged geographically." You blink, the sheer mad genius of it dumbfounding you. They have got to get a better system for this you think to yourself.

Days pass together, you electing to read various books. Given that you merely want to boost your ability to use your mind, the chaotic system doesn't hurt too much and actually helps some, as you're able to grab books from disparate parts of the library in order to expose your mind to the reasoning of diverse areas of the globe. After the ten weeks have passed, you indeed feel a bit more prepared for unexpected situations. You leave with satisfaction, knowing that you have chosen to spend your money and time to better yourself.
