Where do you go?
Tom needs some healing first
"Actually," Tom cut you off, " I think someone should take a look at this." He turned around to show you his back, and reached up to his shoulder to shift his fur cloak to one side. Crimson rivulets ran over his muscular back, from a pair of wounds just above his shoulder blades.
Sarah inhaled sharply through her teeth. "How did that happen?"
"A couple of goblins jumped on me when I was in the ditch. Lucky bastards. Does it look bad?"
It seemed those goblins you let go had done a a bit of a number on Tom. You almost felt guilty, but remembering how much of a cocky, sexist, asshole he was, numbed that feeling. The cuts looked superficial anyway, Tom could probably just walk it off.
"It doesn't look serious," your crush reassured him, stepping close to him and holding his cloak up for him. You watched her put her fingers to above the cuts and gently push, trying to gauge how deep they were. "Hold your cloak there," she told him, stepping away again as Tom obediently held his cloak in place. She walked past you to the body on the floor, bent over, and started trying to rip at his shirt.
You had to abruptly look away as your crush stuck her ass in the air, both cheeks on full display, with just that thin strip of cloth to cover everything else. Those long legs of hers had never looked more inviting. "If I had an actual first aid kit, this would be so much easier," she muttered, followed by the sound of ripping fabric. By the time you looked back at her again, she was straightening up, a ripped piece of mostly clean shirt in her hands.
"Stay still," she told Tom, holding his cloak up with one hand again. Gently, she dabbed his blood away, working slowly up his muscular back. You just watched as she doted on Tom, caressing up towards his shoulders. Her touch got gentler as she neared his wounds, but Tom still grunted as she cleaned beneath them. "Shush," she chided him, while still stroking his back with her free hand like she was calming a horse.
Miranda was stood so close to Tom as she inspected his cuts that her breasts had to be pressing into his back, but she didn't seem to mind. She just stared at his injuries, her hands now idly tracing over his muscular frame. You'd been just about to ask her if she was done and you could move on, when she suddenly moved. Throwing herself forward, she planted her lips on Tom's injuries, kissing them better more passionately than anyone you'd ever seen before.
The two of them both gasped as Miranda's lips left Tom's skin, only for her to lean forward and kiss near the other cut just as vigorously. "What the fuck, Miranda?" Sarah laughed, taking the words right out of your mouth.
"Ah!" Miranda gasped again as she pulled away, a blush flooding into her cheeks. She didn't get a chance to explain herself, before another unexpected sight stole everyone's attention. Pink energy seemed to swirl beneath Tom's skin, spiralling in to the point where Miranda's lips had first touched him. As the light circled around the cut, it miraculously closed, healing so perfectly it was like it had never been there. The other wound did the same thing, closing up and healing over without so much as a scab.
You looked at Miranda in complete confusion, but she just ran her hands slowly through her hair, an eyes-closed grin on her face like she was in a shampoo commercial. When she opened her eyes to meet yours, she giggled again. "I don't know," she shrugged, as if she could read the question in your mind, "it's just like when I blessed your weapons before, I just felt what I should do."
Tom certainly appreciated her listening to her intuition. "Ahh, that feels so much better, Miranda," he sighed, shoulders relaxing again. "Did you kiss me?"
"Yeah," Miranda laughed, "a little bit. It was the only way I could think of to heal you. I hope you don't mind."
"Nah, I don't mind," Tom chuckled, "it's just a good thing they didn't stab me in the ass." That lame joke was enough to send Miranda into hysterics, her reckless laughter leaving her so weak in the knees that she had to lean on Tom for support. despite his back being so recently injured, he didn't seem to mind bearing the weight at all, instead standing proud as Miranda slapped his bare back as she giggled.
The sight of Miranda's fingers, splayed on the prominent muscles of Tom's back, made your teeth grind in your jaw. The fact that she was in no rush to part from him, even though he was already fully healed up, turned the grinding of your teeth up to 11. It was, ironically, Tom who finally pushed Miranda away.
"I've gotta say babe, you have one skilful mouth," he said, turning towards Miranda and bumping her slightly off his body. For a second, it looked like she was about to fall back on to his chest, but then she caught herself.
"Aww," she said, only for her brow to furrow midway through the sound. "I mean, ew gross, don't say stuff like that!" It seemed like your crush had regained control of herself, all the better for you.
"What?" Tom asked, "I just mean, how many people do you know that can heal a cut with just a kiss? Your mouth has a lot more skills than anyone else's." Whilst that might have been objectively true, your crush didn't appreciate the implication.
"You don't have to say it like that," she huffed, pulling away from him with a crimson blush in her cheeks.
Tom tossed his cloak back over his shoulders, a smirk painted across his handsome features. "Fine, be like that," he rolled his eyes. "We all know that what you really want is to put your lips on this hot body."
Miranda grimaced again. "Ew," she enunciated clearly, but her eyes rested on Tom's ripped torso even as she protested.
Rather than allow the two of them to keep going in this back and forth ( a back and forth that Tom seemed to be winning), you decided to force matters along.
"Since Tom's better now, I think we should get going, before it gets dark!" The announcement was a little louder than you'd intended, but it certainly got everyone's attention. Miranda looked caught out by your words, barely meeting your eyes as she folded her arms tightly over her chest again. Tom looked like he couldn't care less. Sarah, surprisingly, was the only one alert and attentive to your words, her redhaired head cocked to one side and her blue eyes on yours as she prepared to listen.
