The Dungeons

{endif}{if Dungeon Event == true}As you follow the dark hallway you realize, where this way will lead you to. You are about to find the dungeons of castle Sankao. You start to feel uneasy but proceed.

“Don’t move.”, you hear someone shout from your right. In the dark you hadn’t seen the guard, that was positioned in a notch to your right. “Identify yourself!”, the guard shouted.

“Tarian, soldier, headed for promotion so currently no specific unit.”, you answer as fast as you can.

“Tarian?”, the voice suddenly turned friendly. “Oh wow, it’s really you.” The guard realized, that you couldn’t recognize him in the darkness and under the helmet. “It’s me, Abel!”

You remember Abel well. He was cadet with you, but fell ill. Thus it was deemed best to cast him out of the military. You had gotten your mentor, Raphael, to call in some favors and get him to be a guard at least. To be honest, you weren’t sure if it wasn’t better to be a guard than a soldier. Sure, less money, but also less danger and more comfortable.

“Hey Abel, how are you?”

You chat for a few minutes. You learn that access to the dungeons has been heavily restricted recently. However, if you ever needed to see the dungeons, Abel might just be able to help you out.
