To be wanted

You hesitate before saying "Someone who will want me". It sounded said in your mind when you said it but when you voice it you sound even worse. However, the man just smiles and says "We all do and I think we can find you an excellent home with someone who will want you."

After some more paperwork, the man leads you into another room, and another, and another. Your head is spinning before you step out of an elevator into what seems like a state of the art hospital. A nurse guides you onto a gurney before looking down at you with a smile and saying "You made the right choice". With that, she puts a mask on you and you pass out before you can count to ten.
