What is his quest?
Thwart a villainous group of perfidious pilferers!
Sir Roger stood in the middle of the city's market square, dressed in his shiny, new (to him at least), and (in his mind anyway) imposing armor. His purple cape gently billowing in the slight breeze.
The task the queen had given him sounded simple enough; there had been a recent spat of pick-pocketing and other thievery in the market, especially of rich and well-to-do nobles. It was Sir Roger's task to put a stop to it and ensure no other high-born individuals would have to endure such embarrassment again.
Of course the details on what these thieves looked like or how they operated had been rather scanty, but surely they wouldn't dare to mess with one of the Queen's own knights, would they?
Sir Roger looked around the marketplace, trying to spot anyone that seemed out of place, his gauntlet-covered hand resting casually on his equally metal-clad hip.
Yes, he made quite the outstanding figure, especially with that large metal sword and thick coin pouch openly hanging from his belt.
Of course, if he might not have dressed so ostentatiously, if had bothered to ask what had happened to the thieves' victims, or if he had known just how many sets of hungry, predatory eyes were currently sizing him up...
