I wake up to my alarm and sit up. I see the others have all woken up already. I leave to my apartment and shower. I check my notifications while showering.

This Hybrids! quest is the same as the Irene one. I guess there's not much going on to make quests about. I think before Observing the mug reward.

#1 Guildmasters Mug, Rare

This white Mug has the words #1 Guildmaster written on it in red. It has a Rune for boosting mana caved into the inside. It instantly recovers a small amount of mana for those who drink it. The amount recovered will depend on what liquid is drunk from it.

This is... a thing. I can't use it though. It'll be awkward if anyone finds out no one gave it to me. Most people wouldn't believe my game-like quests, so they'll assume I bought it for myself. I think with a sigh before finishing my shower. I return and eat breakfast with the others. I learn that Irene's still sleeping, and that Asami left a plate outside her door. She placed it in a container engraved with preserving Runes, so it'll be fresh. Once I finish eating I drive to school and find Myla and Hino waiting for me.

"How was your new member?" Myla asks as I approach them.

"Good, she's kind and polite. So she's made a good first impression on us. But she's been resting from the drive she had, I don't know how long it was. So she didn't spend too much time with us. Marlo and his wife will be here later today. They'll get here about half an hour after school." I reply while we walk toward the building. I tell them about Irene and what we did last night. The bell rings and I go inside. The day passes by the same as yesterday. I spend my early periods trying to come up with more ideas for gifts. Myla and Hino don't meet me for lunch today and instead, I browse the Lyna market. I use the L-Market Device like a phone while looking for materials. I'm hoping that if I see some items or materials they might give me some ideas. None come to me and I continue my classes. Once school's over I drive to my Guildhall. I park and see Irene, Asami, Innu, and Luna outisde. I make the Tricksters Motorcycle shrink before storing it away.

"What kind of motorcycle is that?" I hear Irene ask Asami as I get close.

"It's called the Tricksters Motorcycle. I'm not sure how it was made, but Eric found it in some Ruins we explored before. It can shrink down to toy size and even use mana as fuel." Asami replies causing Irene to nod in awe.

"Where's Liz at? I thought she'd be here." I ask while looking around.

"She's meeting with the Dryads. I figured since we're in a Pact with them, we should invite them to the party too. This way the new members can meet them, since I'm sure we'll see more of them now." Asami replies and I thank her, having not thought of that myself.

"Here they come!" Luna says and I turn around. I see a red car driving toward us. It parks two spaces away from Irene's car. I see a man and a woman get out. The man I recognize as Marlo from the picture on his application. His hair is still blue, but he has his horns hidden away with magic. He has a green T-shirt on with shorts. His wife has brown hair and hazel eyes. She's a few inches shorter than her husband and is wearing a blue shirt and matching skirt. They grab a suitcase each from the trunk, and Marlo grabs a backpack on top of that. They walk over to us and Asami steps forward.

"Welcome, my name's Asami, I'm the Guilds secretary." She says.

"It's nice to meet you, I'm Jessica, but you can call me Jess. This is my husband Marlo." The woman says causing Marlo to nod.

"It's nice to meet you both, I'm Eric, the Guildmaster." I say greeting them.

"Nice to meet you too Eric." Marlo says while reaching out. I take his hand and we shake. I feel him squeeze down on my hand and I see his wife sigh. Is this one of those test handshakes? Should I squeeze harder then? I think while he keeps squeezing down. I start squeezing some more while getting ready to cast Healing Hands. I know his body is tough, much like Innus. Since they're Hybrids their skin and bones are just a bit weaker than normal Wyverns. But I'd rather lean on the side of caution. We continue squeezing for a few seconds before he lets go. "It's been a while since someone beat me at that." He says with a laugh while holding his hand.

"Do you normally test people like that?" Irene asks him.

"Yeah, but only those I work for. It's an easy way to see how strong they are." Marlo replies before Asami clears her throat.

"If you'll follow me, I'll show you to your rooms." Asami says before leading the way. Marlo and Jess follow her. Irene and I follow behind them. "Oh, Jess? I remember Marlo saying you needed a quiet space for your work right?" Asami asks causing Jess to nod. "The rooms have some soundproofing, so you shouldn't hear the others. But we're not sure how loud the construction gets outside. So if they get too loud give me a call. We have two more rooms you can try using." Asami says and Jess thanks her. We get to the third floor and to the rooms. They choose room 2 and step inside.
