Throw a baton!

You've got to get in baton-swinging range, but if you run right at him then he'll have time to shoot at you at least once -- Lucky for you, you don't need to! As you spring up from behind your chairy barricade, you break out into as fast as a dash as you can towards him.

Pretty immediately he fires off the bolt he was holding onto, but you're ready, so just before he's able to shoot it you manage to chuck one of your batons overarm right towards him, hitting him right in the back of his hand before rolling away on the ground. Hah! You keep running, clutching your other baton tightly and trying to close the distance, as his shot goes just in front of you from his sore hand.

He slides in another bolt (it looks like the hand damage wasn't permanent, somehow), and shoulders his crossbow to fire it off at you. But he won't get a chance, because now you're right on top of him with your last baton! You hold it high and press down on the button, sending crackling blue electricity sparking all across the top of the baton. Here goes!
