Veronica hailed a cab and told the driver to take them to Victoria's Secret's flagship store on Fifth Avenue. The girls were giddy with Marlissa's new career and Veronica could not stop taking about her short stint as a model and what Ryan's wife should expect, even when they arrived at the store.

Beautiful women were a common sight in Victoria's Secret that no one had a second thought about them. But Marlissa was a succubus with unearthly beauty that no mortal -- man or woman -- could ignore. Shoppers paused to stare at the statuesque redhead arm-in-arm with a busty brunette as they browsed the lingerie. Ryan obediently followed them to carry the items Veronica suggested, while noting her store's inventory was better, to Marlissa what she should wear.

Ryan was about to joke about how massive Marlissa's lingerie collection was going to be but he decided not to bring it up. Who was he to complain about have a gorgeous redhead lingerie model as a wife?

"Are you models?" a clerk asked after she and her colleagues had argued if they had seen the two women in a fashion magazine or not.

His wife and Veronica exchanged looks before the girls giggled. "Yes," Marlissa nodded, containing her excitement to act more professionally.

"I thought I saw you in last month's Vogue," the clerk noted.

"Actually, I am signing my contract to be a model tomorrow," Marlissa corrected.

"My agent," Veronica added, "is going to get her in with Victoria's Secret." Ryan could see from her face that she missed the attention and lifestyle of being a model.

The clerk happily helped the girls, extending their stay and increasing Ryan's credit card debt.
