The troops finally come to life and rush left and right to hide into the buildings. They spread out chaotically and divide themselves to find shelter. More women captured by gels are brought out to the Gatherer. One by one he captures them in his pods until all are full. Two women remain captured by gels. “Yes, we will.” Ice answers immediately.

Chloe looks out towards Third Company and says, “Interesting.”

Tamara can only assume that all of the enemy’s artillery units are focused on her Company and the others don’t have to deal with this shit. At least they didn’t perform a full out attack. They must be running low on minions. Just another 6 more miles.
