They go their own way.

"Turn here!" Lynn insisted, holding tight to the towel as she turned the duo down a side hallway.

"What?" Terri said. "But the fire exit is the other way! What are you doing, Lynn?"

"I'm not gonna let anyone see me like this!" Lynn said through gritted teeth. "It's not like there's a real fire anyway! We just need to find some place to hide until the fire alarm is over!"

Terri didn't like the sound of that much, but Lynn was in control. Besides, Terri had been the one to get them into this mess, so she couldn't really complain about what Lynn did to try to salvage the situation and keep them out of trouble as best she could, even if she was acting a little crazy. Acting a little crazy was just par for the course with Lynn anyway.
