"Cryopods 156,225 and 199,982 also malfunctioning," the computer says.

You mind reels at the news, you are the only survivor; why did the computer even say they were fine the first time.

You are the only survivor of the 200,000 people that left with you at the Earth, how will you live; hopefully some other colony ship made it.

"Computer where are we in our journey" You hope it understands.

"We are around the planet Ross 128 b we are 11 light-years from the Earth" the computer stops for a second, "the following information is classified," before it continues "we have traveled for 591,888 days or 1,603 years."

Your head spins, well no rescue for you, all your friends and family back home are now almost certainly dead.

The journey was supposed only to take ~350 years! You have awakened quite far off the planned schedule. You feel almost outside of your body, the spinning only getting worse.

"How bad is the damage," you ask wishing you did not have even to ask.

"Sections 2-3 including Pods 200 through 90,000 are gone following the separation of the ship" the disembodied computer continues, "Bio-bay 5,6, and 8 are damaged beyond repair and reverse thrust engines 1,5,8 are gone as well."

"Can we land safety?" you ask worriedly.

"Ship unable to safely decelerate to prevent entering the atmosphere, recommend entering shuttlecraft to surface."

(The shuttlecraft is more like a small ship, with a cargo bay, computer core, and enough room for a man to survive for some time alone.)

Note, this is the D storyline, I do occasionally update this branch; however, my main focus is on the A. This is probably the storyline I will update the least, focusing more on the other three.
