What does Yawena say?
There’s a problem
“Miss Johnson,” her boss said. “I’ve been trying to call you. Do know, that this call is going to be recorded as all my calls are. I hope I’m not disturbing you. How was your day?”
“It was good,” Alexa said. “I was just at the local fair.”
“Really?” he said. “So… then you were definitely on the ferris wheel?”
Alexa confirmed this, blushing. “Y-yes…”
“I found this interesting picture of you,” Mr Yawena said. “And we have a problem. I’m afraid that whatever your beliefs are or whatever you want to do in your free time, is your business, but it’s not how we want our company represented. I’m sure you can understand.”
“Oh…” Alexa said. “I’m sorry… can you explain exactly what the problem is?”
“Your alternative lifestyle is not something that we can endorse or work with,” Mr Yawena said.
“S-so what are you saying?” Alexa asked.
“Effective immediately, I’m going to have to remove you from our program,” Mr Yawena said. “I’ve made it clear what the values of our company are… and this is not one of them. In other words, Miss Johnson, you’re fired.”
Alexa whimpered. “Y-yes, Mr Yawena thank you for-.”
Mr Yawena hung up before Alexa could respond. Alexa whimpered as she curled up in a ball, tears streaming down her face. All her hard work.
Tossed away.
Because she needed diapers…
