“Uh – ah – yes, but – ” Eron babbles as he works with the control panel in front of him. “Yes! The way out’s open, but you have to hurry!” He looks up at her, panic in his eyes. “The Great Machine – it’s angry about what happened! It’s going to seal the complex, shut us off from the surface completely!”

Lux’s eyes go wide. “What? How do I find my way out?”

“I’ll guide you! Just run!”

The urgency in his voice persuades Lux not to wait to ask any more questions. She puts her head down and runs the way Eron is pointing.
