The pokemon center

Amber looks around at the all of the buildings in the city until she sees the white building with a red roof. She points to it, “It’s over there Rory, lets go!” She says rushing off down the pavement and to the front of the building.

“Wait for me!” You say taking off a couple seconds afterwards. By time you reach the front of the building Amber has already gone inside. You read the sign on the door, “Viridian City Pokemon Center: Trainers and Travelers welcome to spend the nights” You had always wondered what pokemon centers were like while you were growing up, now that you’re a trained you get to see what all the fuss is about. The automatic door opens as you step in front of the building and walk inside, the first thing you see in the middle of the room is Amber’s backside as she speaks with the nurse on the other side of the room. You look around some more and See areas for trainers to rest and even some rooms designated for people who spend the night. Before you can take everything in Amber finishes talking with the nurse and turns around and walks over to you.

“There’s so much more stuff in here than I had imagined!” Amber says enthusiastically as she takes another look at the place. “I dropped Charmander off over with her…” she points to the same nurse from before, “to be healed and she said it’d only be a few minutes.”

“In that case let’s just wait over at the lounge area it’ll it’ ready” you say. The two of you walk over and take a seat on the comfy chairs. “So did you want to check out anything else before we move on to the next route?” You ask.

Amber thinks for a bit before shaking her head, “No, I think I want to look around the nearby routes and maybe catch another pokemon” she says with full confidence. The nurse waves to signal Amber to come get her Charmander. She jumps ip and runs over to the desk, you get up and make your way over as well. Amber turns to you a smiles, “Ok lets get going” and the two of you exit the building together.

You stop for a second and spot the pokemart nearby, “Hey Amber, I’m going to go check out the pokemart, see if I can find any new supplies or things that will be be useful ok, you go on ahead. I’ll meet you bye the northern part of town in a little bit.” Amber nods, you can tell she thought about going with you but since she’s still broke there’s no reason for her to go shopping.

“I’m gonna check out that area first but sure” she says pointing to another rout that leads out of the city. “See you later!” She waves before running off once again.

You sigh and walk over to the pokemart, which not to your surprise was just as impressive as the pokemon center. You take a look around and scour through the endless see of items they have for said to find anything useful. A book titled, “The Basics of Pokemon, Volume 1: Catching and Battling” which you pick up and scan through before deciding to purchase one for yourself and a second for Amber just in case. After bringing it to the counter you ask the clerk to buy ten pokeballs as well.

“Will that be all” he says ringing your items up. You nod and him the cash. “This one’s on the house,” he says tossing you an extra pokeball to you. You look at it confused, “its a premier ball, it works the same as the normal ones but it’s white and red instead of red and white.” You put it with the rest of your pokeballs and thank him before heading out the store.

Shortly after exiting the store and walking down the sidewalk, you hear a voice from behind you calling, “Hey you’re a trainer too right?” You turn to see a group of trainers around your age taking turns battling each other.
