The perfect newbie mission: Getting a Kalar Crystal

It was a bright and beautiful day.

The birds where singing, the bee's where buzzing, the flowers where...whatever sound flowers make.

Kanami and Poron where strolling through the woods.

“Are you sure this is a good idea?”, asked Poron in his usual timid self.

“Don't be such a crybaby”, Kanami replied, somewhat annoyed “This will be easy!”

A traveling wizard was paying a whooping 50 Gold coins for a red Kalar crystal. These crystals have powerful magic properties and each Kalar is born with one, residing on their forehead. It should go without saying but the removal of said crystal obviously results in the **** of the Kalar. Which is what Poron is whining about this entire time.

“Kalar die if they are killed.”

“So what?” Seriously what the hell was his problem?

“I feel bad about just killing something. My brother always told me it's wrong to kill.”

Kanami led out an annoyed sigh at that. “Didn't your family try to **** you?”

“Only my stepmother”, Poron explained. “Pitten always helped me.”

“And that's your brother? Is he cute?”

“W-well, I would say he his handsome, yes. But he is also very smart and an excellent fighter. No matter how you look at it, he would make a much better king compared to me.”

“I see”, Kanami didn't particularly care about Poron's backstory. To be honest, it sounded pretty lame. Unless the two brothers where secretly in love with each other. Whoa, that's actually pretty h-hot. Like a forbidden love affair! Maybe Pitten would tie Poron up and tell him how worthless he was, while he spanked him. Kyah, how scandalous!

“Kanami?”

“Be silent! I don't care about your love relationship! We need to focus on our mission! We never know where any...”

“Halt Stop, you Intruders!” A Kalar appeared in front of them, having an arrow pointed directly at her.

Kanami shuddered, screamed and fell to her knees. “Why does everyone have to use these exact words!”

“You are already surrounded”, the tall and slender archer-woman spoke. “Do not resist.”

And so Kanami and Poron where taken captive by the Kalar's. Great.
