Wow, I really wonder what Darkwing Duck and Pitten are up to! (said no one ever)

“A red crystal, is it?”

Pitten watched the young magician with bemusement. He tried a spell first when they approached him. That was his first mistake. His second was to target Pitten who wore the golden armor of goldenbaum. (50 magic resistance)

Although Pitten doubted the target would have made a difference.

“Speak”, Darkwing Duck commanded, tightening the grip around the pitiful magicians throat a bit more. “You send them into the Kalar Forest? How long ago?”

“Y-Yes I did! Four days ago! I-I meant not harm. Please! Forgive me!”

Darkwing finally let the magician go like a sack of garbage. “Four days. This could complicate matters. We won't be able to catch up with them before they enter the forest.”

“No matter”, Pitten said with a charming laugh. “After all, we know what Kalars do with trespassers. Especially of the male variation.”

“Not worried that he may sire a child?”

“Parancho has a strict policy of male primogeniture.”

“I see.” Darkwing appeared rather disappointed. “We should still keep an eye on the forest. Just in case.”

“I concur.”

“M-may I go please?”, asked the terrified magician.

“Alas, but one more question”, Pitten smiled. “Why exactly did you wish to obtain such a crystal?”

“F-for my magic exam!”, the mage quickly explained. “With a red Kalar crystal I will be able to graduate top of my class!”

“I see.” With a swift, deliberate motion Pitten draw his sword. The magician didn't even have time to scream.

“Tying up loose ends?”, asked Darkwing.

“Yes”, Pitten replied with his usual smile. “Shall we resume our quest then?”
