Chapter 7 by HenryKajitani HenryKajitani

Anna must decide! Dawn the mascot costume, squeeze into the cabinet, or escape through the vents?

The mascot costume it is

Anna only had a moment and decided that the costume would be the best way to get out of sight. Lifting the head from the owl mascot, Anna began sliding in. When her legs were about halfway into the costume though, she realized that this costume was obviously not made to be worn with a skirt and was preventing the costume from moving any further. Anna had no time to spare, so she unzipped the uniform skirt and threw it behind her. She slid her arms into the wings of the mascot and fumbled the costume head on, barely managing to slip her chin over the tight chinstrap before she heard someone fiddling with the door handle.

A short brunette girl swung open the door and hopped inside, closing the door behind her. The underclassman's lower body was completely exposed; this was definitely the same girl Anna had sabotaged in the bathroom.

"Now what have you gotten yourself into Bella?" The girl spoke to herself; Bella must be her name. "This is all that girl's fault. I was certain I heard someone in here. Next time I see her, I'll teach her a lesson she'll never forget." Bella searched the room. "Maybe there's something in here to cover up with." After looking around for a moment, the girl smiled and gazed directly at Anna. "That would be perfect." Anna held her breath, her heart beating out of her chest. Bella walked up to the owl mascot and reached behind it to pick up a skirt.

Anna thought to herself, "That's odd, why would there be a skirt back..." before suddenly remembering that she had thrown her own skirt behind her.

"A little big, but it will get me through at least until I find that pile of human garbage that stole mine," the brunette reflected. Bella searched through some boxes before finding some pins and pinning the skirt tighter so she could wear it without holding it on her body. "That should do," Bella said aloud before exiting the supply closet.

Anna let out a sigh of relief when the girl left, but now she was in even bigger trouble than before. Anna might be able to leave the supply closet in the mascot costume, but how far would she get before she had to remove it? She certainly wasn't going to walk around the school with no skirt on. Then she remembered, she still had the stolen skirt! She must have thrown it aside when entering the closet. Anna decided it was time to remove the costume and look around.

Anna reached up and pulled on the head to remove it, but there was a problem. The chinstrap was too tight for the head to be pulled off easily. Anna tried to reach into the costume to loosen the strap, but the winged arms were hindering her dexterity far to greatly. This was not good. As Anna struggled to find a way out of the costume, she was startled by the sound of a bell. Her class had just ended and Anna had not returned! This was not good at all. At this rate, Anna would be late to her next class too. **** for a way out of the costume, she considers just trying to tear the costume apart. That would surely make some people quite unhappy, but they would never know it was her who did it.

Should Anna find something to tear the costume off or find an alternative solution?
