The khajiit

After assessing each of the victims, the nord chose to kill the khajiit making Astrid smile as she watched. The nord then turned back to her and Astrid remained neutral as she said, “The conniving Khajiit. Cat like that was sure to have enemies. It's no wonder you chose him."

“So? Who was it?” The nord asked. “Who had the contract?”

Astrid chuckled as she said “Oh. No, no, no. Don’t you understand? Guilt, innocence, right, wrong… irrelevant. What matters is, I ordered you to kill someone, and you obeyed.”

“So… I’m free to go?” The nord asked.

“Of course,” Astrid said. “And you’ve repaid your debt, in full. Here’s the key to the shack. But why stop here? I say we take our relationship to the next level. I would like to officially extend to you an invitation to join my family. The Dark Brotherhood. In the south west reaches of Skyrim, in the Pine Forest, you’ll find an entrance to our Sanctuary. It’s beneath the road, hidden from view. When questioned by the Black Door, answer with the correct passphrase ‘Silence, my brother’. Then you’re in. And your life begins. I’ll see you at home.”

The nord then left the shack leaving Astrid alone. She sighed as she hopped down from the shelf she was sitting on, her back aching. Not exactly the most comfortable position. She then took the others and slit their throats to tie up loose ends. They both were just as bad people anyways. And then, Astrid swiftly made her way back to the sanctuary, excited about the new member and hoping for success.
