As Saki struggled to get free of the cement keeping her in place, it seemed to her as if a silence had fallen over the room, like everything was moving in slow motion. It wasn't, obviously. There was a commotion all about, and not far away, it was easy to hear the sounds of giggling and moaning where Corinne and her handsome new acquaintance were having some semi-private fun.
