The early bird gets caught

Syd thought about where the Arryo Cartel's hidden landing strip might be. It almost had to be somewhere secluded. Perhaps in a wooded area? She checked Google Maps on her phone. There was a rather large expanse of wooded land north of Sleepy Hollow. If they went in deep enough, they certainly could carve out enough space to make a hidden landing strip. She decided that would be her best destination as she spiked the pedal to the floor, hoping against hope she would be in time to rescue her partner and friend.

She had made good time, thanks to the emergency dome light that everyone gave way to. She was only pulled over once by a very conscientious State Trooper who was more curious about what the emergency was than anything else. She flashed him her badge and ID. "I'm on official police business. Life and **** situation. Now please, just let me go, or I might get there too late."

The Trooper, having seen her ID and badge quickly relented, and asked kindly if she needed any help. Maybe there was something he could help her with. She brought up an aerial photo of the wooded area north of Sleepy Hollow on Google maps to show him. "Do you know a faster way to get to this area. That's where I'm headed."

The Trooper was more than happy to help her, and gave her directions for a short cut that would save her at least an hour's worth of driving time. Syd thanked him as she sped off, now sure of herself that she would be there in time, if not early.

Once there, Syd took things slow. She knew she had to look for a well disguised access area somewhere along the outskirts of the woods she was about two miles in from the start of the woods when she spotted an anomaly in one of the guard rails. She pulled over to check it out. She smiled to herself as she swung open the guardrail, revealing a nice little trail that lead off into the woods. The trail was wide enough for a vehicle to pass. It looked like it hadn't been used recently, which gave her even more hope. She pulled her car onto the trail, then closed the gate behind her. Now all she had to do was find out where this trail went to.

She followed the trail for quite some time before the trees began to thin out. Then, right before her eyes, a clearing came into view. She had found it! There sat the plane, a twin engine turbo prop. She stopped the car to do some recon. She had to find out if there was anyone who stayed with the plane. If someone did, that would make things more difficult. But what Syd didn't know was the trail was monitored by surveillance cameras and that four armed Cartel thugs, including the pilot, had stayed behind. She got out of her car, and crept closer to the edge of the clearing, using trees as cover. She looked through her binoculars at the plane and surrounding area. Suddenly, she heard a click from somewhere behind her. She knew that click was the sound of a weapon being cocked. This was going to get very messy after all.

"Okay, Chica, hands up and turn around real slow," a voice called out to her. She heard more weapons being cocked at either side of her and she knew she had ****. She raised her hands, and slowly turned around. "Fuck me running," she thought to herself.

The three men closed in around her. "Drop what's in your hand and tell us what you're doing here."

Syd dropped her binoculars, and smiled. "I'm a bird watcher. I was told this is a great place to find a rare speckled whippoorwill. It looks like I found the wrong bird."

"You certainly did, Chica," the thug responded. He looked over at the thug to Syd's right. "Search her. Let's make sure our little bird watcher isn't carrying anything that would kill a whippoorwill."

They all drew closer to her. Two of the thugs still had weapons ready to shoot if she made one false move. The other thug began to pat her down. it didn't take long for him to find her gun, badge and handcuffs.

The head thug looked at her appraisingly. "So, you are a cop. Now I'm going to ask you one more time, what are you doing here?"

(Disclaimer: No binoculars were injured during the writing of this chapter. Nor were any guardrails turned into a hidden gate. However, the speckled whippoorwill did show up late, which didn't help Syd's story at all.

"Damn whippoorwill!" said a very dejected Syd.

Well, he was only being paid in bird feed. it's no big deal.

"No big deal!" spouted Syd. "I got captured because of it."

Uh, Syd? You would have got captured anyway. The author wanted it that way.

"Now you listen here, Mr. Disclaimer guy. I'm one of the stars of the show. I'm supposed to do the capturing, not be captured.'' Syd became very irate.

Well, since this is all about Nancy, we could write you out. Especially if you have a problem with nudity and sex scenes.

Syd thought for a while. "Well, I've always wanted to do a porno, just to see what it was like. I guess you can count on me."

Now that's nice to know Syd. I'm sure the author will write you a nice, juicy sex scene.
