What's next?
The Trident of Oceanus
I woke up alone in Undine's bed. She'd gone somewhere. I heard Hans scream.
"The Trident of Oceanus has been stolen!" he said.
I soon realized something was wrong as me, Glaze and Tank approached the throne room where King Poseidon was supposed to be. But at the moment, as we could see through the pillars, he looked far older and emasculated.
Before the throne we saw Undine and another figure, an older kraken. She was a thin slender hag with eight tentacle legs and long white hair.
“—Now that dear daddy’s been silenced,” The unknown woman cackled, and I could now see King Poseidon’s trident in her hand, "And I couldn't have done it without your help, my dear."
Undine’s shoulders shook.
“Thetis, no! I didn’t want this!” She begged, “Give me back my father!”
"Why not?" Thetis asked, "Aren't you tired of following your dear daddy's orders? Oh, yes. We had a deal, didn't we? Time for a little journey to the dark world of the Darkness!"
"Daddy!" Undine said.
A pair of kraken girls came from either side to circle around Undine and the old hag that is called Thetis.
"Hey you!" I announced myself, ready for whatever might happen next. I could already tell she was bad news.
Thetis turned at our shouts of anger at my words.
“Why, we have company,” She said with mock surprise as she eyed the Chainsaword in my hand, “I’m afraid you’re a little late, handsome! I’ve already taken care of things here. Now out of my way,” Thetis growled as we moved to block her path, and she burst right through with surprising speed alongside her cronies. Over her shoulder she yelled, “I’ve got an ocean to conquer!”
"The trident... We must get it back," Poseidon said weakly.
"What does it do?" I asked.
"The Trident of Oceanus belonged to my uncle Oceanus. It give the wielder power over the seas. I defeated him during the Titan War and took the trident from him. Thetis has been seeking it ever since I followed her here," Poseidon said.
"Come on, let's go!" I said.
"Wait, I'm going with you!" Undine said, "My father is hurt and it's all my fault. I have to stop Thetis!"
The three of us, now accompanied by Undine, swam to follow them out of the palace as quickly as we could.
“We gotta stop Thetis!” Undine sputtered as we raced through the water.
“What happened?!” Glaze demanded.
Undine struggled to talk through her tears as she raced through the water, “Thetis said she could take me to another world too but she needed the trident to do it!” We all swam faster now at the sight of Thetis and her minions on the horizon, getting closer. Undine continued, “I led Thetis to the throne room and dad walked in just as I touched the trident, and then he saw Thetis and got really angry! That’s when Thetis grabbed the trident and turned him into that thing, and you guys came in.”
“Thetis tricked you!” I exclaimed.
“She’s gotta be working with Hera,” Glaze scowled.
