The Spider Dungeon

The world around us disappears and is replaced by a dark mountain. The sky is dark grey and the sun is gone. Surprisingly however, I can still see perfectly fine through the darkness. The mountain reminds me of the Wyverns except this one isn't as steep and has a giant cave about twenty feet ahead of us.

"So, I guess we go in the cave." Myla says looking around. Me and Hino nod in agreement and start walking.

"Oh, I almost forgot, I'm going to add you two to the party again." I tell them sending the invite. They accept and I see there HP and MP bars appear. We get to the mouth of the cave and look inside.

"Look there." Hino says pointing into the cave. I look and see a giant spider, about as tall as my thighs. I use Observe on it reflexively.

Giant Spider Lvl 20, Class: Hunter, Title: Insect, RP: -250, Hearts: 0, Weak: None

HP: 750/750 MP: 50/50

I feel a chill run down my spine and I cast Ancient Beastial Strength while pulling out my Dark Claws and Dark Boots. I quietly run and jump on the spider, impaling its back with my blade.

Rare Item Drop

"Why is it so big!" I say taking my blade out and swinging it to get the green blood off. Myla and Hino come up behind me and Hino examines the item dropped.

"Eric, you shouldn't run ahead like that!" Myla scolds me while Hino holds up the ring that dropped.

"Eric can you Observe this?" She asks handing it to me. I take it and avoid the angry glare Myla's giving me.

Spiders Ring Lvl 15, Rare

This ring has a small black crystal spider embedded into it. It allows the wearer to control non magical spiders completely and influence magical ones. Requirements: you must be a Spider or Spider related race to use.

"It's trash." I say disappointed, and explain seeing Hinos confused stare. "It allows you to control normal spiders and manipulate magical ones but only a spider or spider related race can use it."

"Oh, we have a spider relates race in our guild. I think?" Myla says. "I've never meet him but he apparently has four small spider legs growing from his back."

"Here, we don't have anyone who can use it." Hino says handing her the ring. Myla stores it away while I vomit internally imaging the person.

"Let's move on, and Eric, NO more running ahead." Myla says sternly and I nod and shrug. We keep walking down the halls however we don't find anymore spiders. After ten minutes Hino speaks up.

"Something's wrong here, there should be more spiders."

"Yeah, as much as I'd hate to run into more, we should've found at least a few more. And it's not like we took a wrong turn. This cave is a single path with no turns." I add and we stop.

"So, should we keep going. It's possible that the monsters are outside the cave and we were supposed to go up the mountain." Myla says and I think about it. I'm about to say something when I see a small drop of green blood.

"Are there any other guilds or Lyna that would've come here before us?" I ask them.

"No, we're the only guilds in the area and no single Lyna would know of this since the orbs used to detect Dungeons are only given to guilds. Why?" Hino asks me.

"Get ready, someone else is here. And I doubt they're friendly." I say and they ready they're weapons.

"What makes you so sure?" Myla asks and I point to the small drop of blood.

"Someone went through a lot of trouble to clean up after killing the spiders. But they missed a spot. It could've been intentional or they didn't have to time either way they might be close." I say and the girls nod. We slowly start walking forward constantly checking our surroundings. After a few minutes the cave tunnel starts shrinking and we come across a wooden door. The door is crudely made. Just the bark of some trees stuck together with mud. We carefully slide it open and enter the nearly pitch black cavern behind it. Once were inside the door slides shut behind us. I look ahead and see some light come down from the ceiling. It light up a giant spider, bigger than me and twice as long. The spider is dead and covered in green blood. On top of the spider sits a person wearing a cloak. It covers there face and body so I can't tell who they are.

"Well this is a surprise." They say standing up and jumping down from the corpse. "I wasn't expecting any company. So, to what do I owe the pleasure?"
