The Source Of The Ring

Inside the foyer I continue to follow the bings until I'm standing outside the door of Miss Quangh's office. Opening it slightly I hear she talking to someone, peering around, seeing no one, I take that to mean she on a phone. "Well the beacon has been offline for a few hours now and no one has reported seeing her around the city." Silence then "Well! find her before she entraps any other of our members.!"

With the vibrations of the phone shaking the front of my thing, I can't believe that the person who bugged me is none other than the mayor's right hand person. "Now I have to attend a function with His honor so call me after six with an update!" Great hearing her chair creak like someone just got up I gently close the door and look around to where I could hide before she came out. Nothing but a water fountain, looks like I'm going to drink until she gone.

Out Quangh comes as i take in my first mouthful. Luckily she takes the opposite way from me and disappears within a few seconds. The phone is still going off in my pocket as I contact Green telling him to have the other officer follow Quangh and make notes about who she talks to. Going to the door, I'm in luck when I try the handle and it opens quietly.

Going in, moving to her desk I go behind it as the vibration in my pocket starts to physically shake me leg. Trying the drawers of the desk, mostly locked I bend down to look under the leg opening, seeing a slight opening between the top of the drawer section and the bottom of the desk top. Crunching down to try to make my way into the opening I hear the door open. Sucking in a breath and holding it

"I'll just be a minute i forgot my phone Tom!" Coming around the desk about to open one drawer when a high heeled shoe makes contact with my shin. Trying to stifle a cry of pain "Tom someone is in here under my desk!" As she bends down to look, I hear a gun being cocked "Well ,well, well Tom looks like your little darling is better than you gave her credit for!"

Tom comes around and pulls me out! "Well we found her ZhenZhen now do something about her before she blows my plans to become Governor sky high!"
