Chapter 4 by MidbossMan MidbossMan

What trap card did the Pharaoh flip?

The Pharaoh flips Spell-Binding Circle

"I flip the trap card, Spell-Binding circle! Your monster is unable to attack, as long as this card remains face-up on the field!" Atem announced, waving one hand forward dramatically.

It would take a lot more than that to make Tea sweat, of course. She hadn't put all her eggs just in that one basket. At the same time, what she hadn't predicted was the added effect of the trap card being flipped: rather than just appearing below her Dunames Dark Witch, the circle began to open up beneath her as well. "That can't be-!" she gasped, before suddenly, the inscribed runes of the circle lit up with dark magic. It felt as though her feet had become rooted to the ground. Worse, purple rings began to rise up from the circle's circumference, surrounding her body in three places. One tightened around her neck, locking her chin slightly elevated. The other bound her arms, just as importantly, slid under her breasts, causing them to bounce up and nearly push out of the halter top. One more locked around her upper thighs, just below the skirt's hem.

To say that she'd been made uncomfortable was an understatement. "Pharaoh! Is this a shadow game?!" she immediately questioned, looking nervous.

Atem was puzzled (pardon the pun). "No, Tea... There is no need to be afraid. This is just a duel between friends-"

"Then why am I wrapped up in your spell-binding circle?!" she questioned, now feeling more frustrated than anxious. "We have to call off the duel!"

"Tea... Do not be nervous. This is an all-out duel against friends. It would be nothing less than an insult if I didn't utilize my full power against you. I expect you to respond in kind," the Pharaoh answered, seeming not to comprehend her complaint. Or perhaps he did understand and was saying that regardless of the real discomfort she was experiencing, they were supposed to keep dueling?

There was nothing she could do but end her turn. The situation went from bad to worse, of course: Yugi had been given a significant advantage here with the chance to tribute one of his cards. One thing led to another and, before she knew what was happening, Dark Magician Girl was on the field across from her, along with Dark Magician. The familiar faces would be a pleasant sight... if they weren't staring her monster down, ready to attack. "Wait, Pharaoh... Before you call that attack..."

"Hm? Do you have a card to activate from your hand?" he questioned, seeming almost like a dunce in that moment to her.

"No... I'm saying... If Circle works this way, what's going to happen when my monster gets hit?" she asked timidly.

"You will take Life Point damage, as always. But it's not an attack to your monster you should be worried about, I'm afraid; it's a direct attack to your very life points. I destroy your monster with the magic card: Thousand Knives!" he bellowed, raising his spell card into the air before placing it down onto his disk. To her horror, countless knives really did pop up in the air around the dark magician, pointing their blades towards her monster, and just as critically, herself.

Terrified like a girl who's been picked out of the crowd for an especially dangerous magic performance, Tea closed her eyes and clenched her teeth, anticipating the worst. She felt the knives go by her and heard the sound of her monster being shattered. Nervously, the girl beat her lashes, then opened one eye slowly to survey the damage. Sure enough, her monster had been completely destroyed. That wasn't the part that bugged her... Most notably, her Dark Witch uniform had been shredded. The smooth, pink skin of her breasts, undamaged by any knife blade, was visible suspended above the upper ring, barely covered by the yellow fabric that had hung on. Even the black, strapless bra that had been underneath had been damaged. Just as bad was the lower side, where the skirt had been cut so that it hung in tatters, barely hiding black, high-legged panties beneath the skirt. Even her boots appeared to have been cut up and the circlet had fallen in half, landing at her feet.

"Ph... Ph... Pharaoooh! Where the heck do you think you're aiming those things!?" she complained, half mortified and half wondering if she'd finally managed to pique his sex drive.

"Fair play, fair duel, Tea," the Pharaoh laughed. "Don't worry. We can go over the finer points of this duel once we're finished. For now, both of my monsters: attack directly!"

"Nooo! Wait, wait wait!" Tea shrieked, as a bevvy of magic attacks shot out at her. Upon impacting, the effect was much the same as the knives; she wasn't burnt or bruised or incenerated, nor was she sent to the shadow realm. Instead, the rest of her yellow garment was reduced to ashes, scattering behind her before she could even mourn it. The black sash she'd been wearing was gone as well... even the boots had been claimed, leaving her barefoot against the stone. Only the black undergarment set was left, and even that had tatters from where knives had hit it earlier. She noted with some alarm that her bikini bottom was only being held up by the grace of the ring clamping onto it... one of the side-straps had been severed. "Ooh! What are you doing?!"

Beginning to look somewhat worried, the Pharaoh knit his brow. "Tea, you must know I was never going to throw this duel for you. The only way for you to win is to come back in this next turn. And on that note, I end my turn."

Tea was without words, struggling against whatever arcane magic had her bound and her irritation at the Pharaoh, who seemed more concerned about the duel than the humiliation she was experiencing. "You like this kind of duel, huh? Huh?! We'll see how you feel when I blast you into your boxer shorts!" she protested wiggling as much as she was capable with the rings restricting her. The Pharaoh's expression showed he had no idea what to make of that. "Whatever! It's my turn to attack and I'm going to bring out a dark magician girl of my own!" she shouted. "First, I play Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen! This card allows me to special summon one fairy monster from my hand. I choose: Shining Friendship! Next, I tribute Shining Friendship and summon Dark Magician Girl in attack mode! Finally, I play Dark Burning Attack to destroy all of your face-up monster cards!"

This was just the type of move she'd seen Yugi make before; it ought to be fully effective in clearing his field. She hoped that was the case, for her sake...

What is the outcome of Dark Burning Attack?
