Chapter 13

What happens next?
The Perfect Storm
Your umbrella helps quite a bit with the rain. Of course, when a gust of wind comes and blows the rain sideways, it doesn't do as much, but that seems to be something happening infrequent. Your walk to the dining hall takes a while, since you decided to live on the opposite side of the campus from it, but it shouldn't be too annoying.
It's then that you see Amy in the mist. She's speedwalking down the path in the same direction as you, likely going to the dining hall as well. She has her head down to avoid the rain hitting her face directly, and she's shielding herself a little bit with her arm, but it isn't doing much.
You run up to her and wordlessly, she steps in under your umbrella with you.
"Thank you so much Cody, the rain almost soaked through my shirt", she says.
You manage to sneak a furtive glance down at her, and yes, her white shirt has been made quite transparent. You don't want to keep staring for long, though.
"Here, take my windbreaker", you say, taking your light jacket off and offering it to her, both to cover up her wardrobe issue, and because the rain was certainly cooling the air off around you.
"I can't take this", she begins protesting. "You're going to get cold!"
"Relax", you say. "I'm not like you who manages to get cold when it's like 80 degrees outside, I'll be fine". That wasn't a lie either. She did complain one time about it being too cold outside when it was 80, and you have some sort of built-in protection against cold weather. It wasn't even that cold outside yet.
She rolls her eyes, muttering something about how you were going to get pneumonia one day, but she does put the windbreaker on.
You manage to sneak a glance at your phone while walking, which says:
Pearson, Amy
Affection Points: 150 (MAX!)
Love Score: 31 (+7)
Lust Score: 5 (+2)
Maybe these simple, chivalrous acts were all you needed to do in order to advance farther with these women. It might not work with all of them, but Amy sure seemed to appreciate it.
You enter the dining hall
