What system do you create?

The Passion Plague Simulation

Inspired by some of your all time favorites, you draw upon the weave of your power to encode the nodes before you with the substance of your latest creation. No longer than a few seconds pass before the complex web of neurons begin to systematically pulse and radiate, the game system taking complete form.

The omniscient player in this game controls a powerful magical plague that is released from the demonic realm, one that gradually turns anyone it infects Sex Crazy. The goal of a scenario, which is defined by the player's choice at the beginning of the game, is to infect all NPCs present in the current game environment, effectively turning them into nymphomaniacal sluts who are no longer able to do anything else but fuck themselves or each other silly at every opportunity.

The rules for the development of the infections are simple and divided into 3 Stages. The 'Infected' Stage is when the initial effects of the infection takes hold. The 'Breaking' Stage is when the more advanced effects take form, and finally, the 'Broken' Stage indicates the complete reduction of the NPC's personality into a sex crazed nymphomaniac. Players must also prevent any cure for their disease from reaching full completion, or risk losing the game when the last infected NPC is freed from the player's curse. NPCs at later stages of infection are the hardest to cure.

Players will have the opportunity to select Patient Zero, the initial carrier of their disease, from any currently active NPC in the game environment, and they will have the opportunity to custom tailor their plague with many forms of evolutions and powers, ultimately creating the perfect curse that alters the mental state and physiology of infected victims. They can do this by upgrading from a number of tech trees under specific categorizations called 'Metamorphs', using Metamorph Points earned from successful infections or successfully broken NPCs. Points are also awarded from special events, combos and occurrences as a scenario progresses. Once a point is invested in a tree, the player cannot put points into any other tree. There are three main Metamorph tech trees of note:

1.) Suggestion. The slowest developing mind affecting disease but the hardest to detect due its subtlety. The hardest to cure in advanced stages. This tree alters the thoughts and personality of whoever it infects to become far more sexualized, eventually degenerating the victim's mind to only think and obsess about sex. Those of stronger Willpower will resist the longest, but also crash the hardest when the infection develops beyond their Threshold. There are a number of sub trees for the player to invest in:

  • Infection, for the development of alternative or better methods of infection
  • Behavior, for the alteration of specific mind affecting elements
  • Resilience, for resisting the effects of cures
  • Power, for special abilities that alter how the disease performs in certain situations

2.) Zombify. The fastest infecting mind affecting disease and the easiest to cure due to its simplicity. Rapid infection and evolution strength is key to successfully win a scenario using this Metamorph tree. This tree alters the mind to ravenously seek out sexual pleasure in any manner or form, which includes attacking other NPCs. Continued exposure to infected victims speed up the development of Stages. There are a number of sub trees for the player to invest in:

  • Infection, for the development of alternative or better methods of infection,
  • Intensity, for the alteration of how aggressive the infected will be,
  • Resilience, for resisting the effects of cures,
  • Power, for special abilities that alter how the disease performs in certain situations.

3.) Avatar. This allows players direct control of the action by playing as a powerful hypersexualized Avatar spawning in a remote location somewhere in the game environment (They will still be able to see the whole map from a top down 3D view). The disease initially spreads through contact with the Avatar, which later spreads from NPCs throughout the game scenario as they interact with their environment or with each other. The player's powers are directed through the Avatar's actions and numerous evolutions, which make gameplay particularly versatile and much easier to control the spread of infection. However, discovery could quickly mean the end of the game as NPCs may immediately become Hostile, running away to call for help or attacking directly. The Avatar's appearance and gender are entirely customized by the player and they spawn in with a starting set of special powers:

  • Memory Wipe, to remove any evidence of the Avatar's existence or memories of recent events from the targeted NPC,
  • Disguise, to magically appear as a neutral NPC to other NPCs. Best utilized in repositioning or ambushing victims, or using creativity to achieve desired goals. If the disguise is compromised and NPCs are alerted to it's presence, the Avatar will be treated as if it is not in disguise. A new disguise is needed to be safe from this effect,
  • Daze, to quietly subdue NPCs in a blast of psychic energy. Depending on intensity, NPCs can either be knocked out cold or severely weakened. The effects are mostly temporary.

They also start with a few free Metamorph Points to offset the difficulty. There are a number of sub trees for the player to invest in when playing this Metamorph:

  • Infection, for the development of alternative or better methods of infection,
  • Avatar, for upgrading the capabilities and strengths of the player's Avatar. Includes more special powers and abilities such as flight, invisibility and phasing through solid objects. Some abilities will alter the Avatar's base undisguised appearance, such as flight causing it to grow wings,
  • Resilience, for resisting the effects of cures and direct attack,
  • Power, for special abilities that alter how the disease performs in certain situations.

The game's main feature is the advanced AI that will be controlling every NPC's behavior. Depending on their age, roles, personalities and willpower, they will react to certain events in certain ways. Every NPC has a set schedule for each in game day. Depending on the game map, they will go about interacting with their environment according to their schedule, which is made flexible should certain conditions occur. For example, if a security guard were to suddenly disappear, another one elsewhere will take over his or her duties. Some may even leave the game map for some time, reappearing at certain times of the day, such as students leaving to go home at the end of the school day. The infected will break this base cycle as order turns into chaos. NPCs will eventually notice what is going on, sometimes attracting new NPCs that have the capability of developing cures if there are none currently present. It is up to the player to choose how the infection spreads as quickly or as strategically as possible in order to turn everyone into mindless sex obsessed sluts. The scenario is considered won when this condition is met.

With the new system complete, it was time to see how your latest creation will unfold. In a flash of bright light, you find yourself at the main menu featuring a highly explicit gangbang scene in the background with the game tile, 'The Passion Plague', flashing in hot red letters above it.
