The Offer (Clip 14 of 14)

A couple days ago, the TRT team responsible for footage received another clip out of the blue. It was the footage of Clara giving birth to Gels for the first time, and was seemingly saved for a while before they had sent it. Melissa clicked on the final clip.

Casey was lying in a reddish pool, moaning as she was giving birth to a gelatinous creature with a core in the center. Shortly after she pushed it out, the Gel covered Casey's breasts, sucking milk into it's gelatinous mass. At this point, the Camera turned to the White Haired Lydia, who was wearing her Rose Squadron uniform, but her breasts were exposed.

"...Dr Melissa Pario, right? Head of the Towerling Research Department? Your the one that set this whole affair up, gave away your staff members to become Towerling Broodmothers, and if your old mentor has anything to say about you, you have a very specific goal. A goal, that I don't particularly care about, but I'm not about to let you go ahead and achieve it freely. But if you are willing to make a deal, I'd be willing to...look the other way personally, while you climb the tower, if you can accomplish something for me."

The camera turned back to Casey, who was smiling as the gel sucked on her breasts.

"...I want Officer Casey to be my bride, but she has become somewhat...tainted by our tower. But there's still hope, as I impregnated her as she was infected, she wasn't claimed by any specific species, and while the infection will likely be complete in her by the time you see this, she will remain unclaimed. I'm going to store her away, in a nice and warm little spot within the tower, away from her children that want to claim her."

The camera turned back to Lydia, and she continued her speaking.

"There is no means of reversing the infection from inside the tower , but if you can create a cure outside, and bring it to me, then I alone will step out of your way on your attempt to ascend the tower. But this deal is only if you bring me a complete cure, as she needs to return to her natural state of mind for what I want, and if you bring me anything that doesn't work, I will give you to her children faster then you can imagine. Now, it's your turn. A complete cure, and you will have one less Matriarch guarding the path up the tower."

"I wish you the best of luck." Lydia finished, before turning of the Camera for the last time.

Melissa had begun looking for a cure for infection long before this point, and results were...mixed, but a complete cure on anyone that had been claimed had been impossible. A complete cure on someone who was merely fully infected though, was something Melissa figured she could potentially find, but it would take time. More then she had before the recon mission, and it would be hard to find it before the ****.

But Melissa enjoyed the presence of an option to deal with Lydia. Though she couldn't tell if Lydia's desire to turn Casey into her bride was something based on existing feelings she had before becoming a Matriarch, or something that she gained from her transformation. But as much as she had an interest in the subject, Melissa had work to do, and she wasn't going to let that final detail bother her any longer. She grabbed her phone, and called the lab, wondering how the potential cure was coming.

If only she had known what happened in between the recordings.
