"Are you sure it is the right thing to disclose this to the entire convent? It could cause panic.", Father Joe said.
"It is important for them to know. We don't know what the artifact actually is. It has been centuries since anyone has seen it. They need to know that they are in danger so they can be careful.", Mother Superior replied.
Father Joe sighed. "God save us all. "
Every nun in the convent had gathered in the chapel for the meeting that Mother Superior had called. It was not usual for them to have such meetings at such a short notice and no one had any idea about what was happening.
Aloysius was already at the altar ready to address the nuns when Sister Willow and Sister Grace walked in and joined the other sisters.
"My fellow sisters, a lot of you may be wondering why this meeting has been called. There is something that I have kept from you for many years that you have been here at this church with me. It is about a secret, a burden, a responsibility that has been passed on to me by the ones that came before me."
There was no sound except for when the mother Superior spoke. Everyone was curious to know what secret she was referring to. All except Willow, who could not focus on what Aloysius was talking about. The tingling that she felt earlier in her crotch had escalated to a fire. It took all her will power to control her hands from diving into her snatch.
"As you know, this church was built centuries ago. What you all would not know is that it was built for a specific purpose. There was a time when humanity was a lot closer to God. Angels visited the Earth and spent time with humans talking about God and his greatness.
One day, the demons declared war on Earth. They had been in hell for too long and wanted to capture Earth as their domain.
There was a great war between the Angels and the Demons. In the end, the Angels were able to eradicate most of demonkind. The few who survived were pushed back to the depths of hell."
By this time, the pressure was too much for Willow and she snuck out without any one noticing and ran to her room. She had to get some kind of relief or she would go crazy.
"The demons left some of their artifacts behind. Angels built tombs and churches to seal off these unholy items from humanity. These items were said to induce sins into mankind that would lead to it's destruction.
Over the years, some of these weaker artifacts have come into human possession and have caused numerous wars.
This church was built to protect one such artifact. Unfortunately, it has gone missing. There is no need to panic. I request everyone to keep a big cross and holy water in their possession at all times. If you come into contact with an item that makes you uneasy or induces unpleasant thoughts, hold on to the cross and inform me at once. It is imperative that this artifact is found and restored to it's prison."
