The Hookray (Stingray Grimm)

Resembling that of the stingray, Hookrays hover high in the sky while their long hook shape tails dangle beneath them. Most people only notice them when they spot the yellow light these tails emit as they hang close to the ground.

These Grimm prey on humans by hooking onto their clothing and dragging them away into the sky.

While it is advised to keep away from these Grimm’s tails because of this risk, there have been many reports of people who look into the tail’s light to feel a rush of adrenaline and be tempted to ride them. These thrill seekers often sit on the tails, ride them into the air and jump off before being carried away. Because of this, items of clothing are often caught on the tails, rendering the victim “hooked”.
