The First Harem Tournament 6 – Dark Waters [Undine POV]
“I’ll give it a quick spin,” Siena cooed, already sashaying towards the wheel.
Undine watched silently, indulging her eyes in the left to right of those wide hips. Truly, no one else, inside or outside the Imperial Choir, was as blessed in this department as the dark Harmonia. ‘I really enjoy that new word,’ Undine mused to herself. ‘It rings poetically.’
The rapid ‘Di-di-di-di’ of the spinning wheel gradually diminished, until a final ‘Did!’ announced its halt. “Rainforest,” Siena said aloud, then laughed huskily. “I like it hot and wet.” She bit the tip of her bladed index finger.
Undine suppressed both the urges to chuckle and to roll her eyes at her friend's constant sexualizations. ‘Victory or, at least, no clear loss,’ Undine thought. Her chances to win were… difficult to estimate. Of course they had sparred before, but not often. They made for a dull match-up to fight in unserious condition. Now, with the eyes of the world on them, she had her pride to defend. She had a little of that.
The rainforest sprung up all around them. Dense vegetation and tall trees sprung up all around, the air becoming saturated with moisture until Undine could feel droplets forming on her membrane. Siena was long out of view. Undine wasn’t concerned. Keeping eyes on the midnight elemental had never been the goal.
“Three! Two! One! Fight!”
The countdown ended and nothing happened. Undine remained where she was, her foot, a singular mass of spread slime that swung inwards before broadening where the upper thighs marked the transitioning area between inhuman and human appearance, spread between the mesh of roots on the ground. Golden eyes fixed on a random spot in front of her. The ends of her hairs twitched, giving the liquid mass of faux-strands the appearance of a nest of snakes. Her antlers moved subtly, the liquid insides stretching and flaring.
The environment gave Siena many places to hide.
It also forced the shadow spirit to walk through obstacles.
Knowing that Undine’s acute vibration senses would give any slow approach away, the shadow spirit struck suddenly. Bursting out of the nearby underbrush, she charged across the divide, claws at the ready. Even prepared, Undine barely snapped around in time, but facing her opponent was an unnecessary luxury anyhow. The true counter came as a wave of tendrils arching up behind Undine, threatening to crash down on the shadow spirit.
Siena had already swerved to the side. A swing of her tail sliced through the connecting point of the tendrils. Undine pulled a black liquid out of the shadows, hurling it at Siena. The binding darkness met the midnight elemental’s open palm, then dispersed into black mist.
Liquid shadow would not work in this fight. Undine had needed to try, at least.
Past the defences, Siena swiped at Undine. Five claws sliced from shoulder to hip, cutting deep. Any being of flesh and blood would have had its ichor spraying into air and onto dirt. Undine simply concentrated her magic, willing the mending touch of healing waters to aid her already impressive natural regeneration.
Siena did not leave it at one swipe. Again and again, she struck Undine in a ferocious chain of attacks. Undine did not try to dodge, only interrupted the pattern of attacks with lashing tendrils of gnashing teeth. Curves on her antlers unfurled into additional eyes, helping her track her opponent while she was still visible.
Theirs was a long-winded dance. Undine’s sturdy physique made most fights a question of whether or not an opponent could deal sufficient damage to overpower her regeneration. Siena, one of the few hundred entities in her level range, had that capacity. Further, she was better at it than most. Certainly, the shadow spirit would have preferred to target vitals and deal a decisive blow. Sadistic as she was, she did not mind a drawn-out encounter. Claw slashes and tail stabs were cheaper on her mana reserves than Undine’s healing was on hers.
Eventually, Undine’s defences would be exhausted.
Simultaneously, this state of affairs worked to Undine’s favour. The disruptions of Siena’s rhythm of attack kept the damage exceeding her regeneration at a minimum and the more she healed herself, the more she prepared herself for an Unleash that would let her drown this jungle in black waters.
Eventually, Undine’s offensive capabilities would be maximized.
Siena suddenly cut through a tendril, bridging the distance between them fully. Claws headed for Undine’s neck, only to seize Undine’s chin instead. “So tense already, love,” the dominatrix moaned. “This is just foreplay.”
An upwards swing of Undine’s arm brought forth a wave of slime, growing as the moisture in the air was pulled into it. Siena retreated rapidly, skipping backwards on her high heels. Staying ahead of the cresting wave and the flood that followed, Siena soon disappeared between the trees.
Undine considered her options briefly, then the calming waters began to pull into unnatural bulbs. Each sprouted into a copy of the abysstide elemental and each wove her part into a greater spell. Each was Undine, each hand was another extension of her central mind, and all together on her own, she made it rain cataclysmic falls of salty water.
Brine spheres the size of an entire human crashed through the canopies, shattering trees and shredding underbrush with sheer weight. The air went from heavy with moisture to entirely dry, all of it gathered up into the devastating descent. It was a slow spell in both preparation and execution, serving only to flatten the landscape.
Undine almost didn’t realize when one of her many bodies was sliced apart. Stretched awareness delayed her reactions. Dark pools now pockmarked the rainforest, waters infused with Undine’s mana that reacted swiftly to her intent. Not swiftly enough, however. Siena ran faster than Undine could adjust her aim, tendrils slamming into the ground behind the shadow spirit until she leapt into the shadow of a great tree.
A toothed tendril coiled around the plant, crushing and felling it, tearing down the shade. Siena had long since moved. By the time the tree’s splinters crashed to the ground, another copy was picked off.
The additional bodies had fulfilled their function. They were only a weakness now, one that Undine aimed to rectify.
Her true body suddenly swelled, expanding at the speed of a rushing flood. Water was pulled into her, turning the deep blue of ink as it became part of the great creature that emerged, absorbing the other bodies as it did. An unsteady mass of yellow eyes, gnashing teeth and tendrils, this Lovecraftian form of hers thrashed wildly, clearing more and more of the debris.
A precision attack would have never caught Siena, the difference between their speeds was too vast. Widespread devastation was the only viable path.
Undine’s plan was working. Turning the rainforest into wood dust flattened the shadows, forcing Siena out of hiding. The shadow spirit wove between the steady onslaught of the tendrils, barely managing to slip in-between. One good hit was all it would take.
Yet Siena did not stop her own counterattacks. She sliced as she blitzed past the manifold limbs of the abysstide elemental’s changed form. She jumped and launched daggers of sharpened dark at the centre mass.
All the same, slam by slam of her tentacles, Undine drove Siena into a corner. Their arena was not endless, only very large. The shadow spirit’s bare back was soon introduced to the cold marble. The corners of her bodysuit swirled.
Undine began to raise an enormous tendril, ready to deliver the one strike that counted for it all.
Another dagger of shadow flew, piercing the ground where the tentacles’ shadow lay. Undine’s many mouths produced an annoyed hiss when she felt supernatural resistance. For a moment, she wrestled for control over herself, then the eagerness to crush her opponent won out. Many eyes widened, yellow turning to a burning red. The previously unified hiss tilted into a cacophony of old elemental, multiple thoughts streaming out all at once as the anger and pride turned into an unstoppable tide. All Undine could do was direct the torrent of her own feelings.
Unleashed, her tendril ripped through the magic pinning her shadow.
Unleashed, Siena’s form turned into living darkness, her eyes a pair of silver moons with slitted shadows at their core.
Escalation matched, Siena leapt out of her confinement. She was just a little too slow. The ready availability of Siena’s Unleash made it the lesser trump card. Her burst of speed did not match the layered destruction. Though she escaped the direct impact of the slamming tentacle, the explosion of brine that followed swept her up all the same.
A lesser tendril grasped Siena by the ankle. “Got you!” “Now I have you.” “Mine, mine, mine!” Undine’s mouths echoed the sentiment in many ways as her eldritch shape turned into a vortex, swinging Siena overhead to break her body upon the floor.
A second before impact, the shadow spirit’s tail sliced through the tendril. Rather than break, Siena merely had a painful impact, her curvaceous body tumbling through the shattered forest. “I usually don’t-“ Siena began a flirtatious comment, only to swallow the rest of her words in a nervous gulp.
Undine loomed above, a wave of teeth and competitive spirit. Her nature and habits afforded Siena a minimal amount of grace as she turned tail and ran like her life depended on it.
A loving laughter mixed with the urge to dominate. Undine was neither liquid nor solid as she gave chase. One shape could not have described her amorphous pursuit. Tendrils sprouted where waves crested. A mass of millions of litres of water crawled on teeth. Antlers like black corals snapped out of the briny depths, stabbing at Siena.
Undine was a deep-sea horror and she loved it.
Siena kept moving and moving, dodging and dodging, but that advantage in speed she had did not match the sheer scale of Undine’s range of destruction. Where Siena fled, the flood had already prepared new waters for the abysstide elemental to channel her destructive capability into. All of her healing lay forgotten, replaced by the tumultuous need to win, the undeniable, barely controllable shadow of her patience.
And then, suddenly, it was gone.
All of that power, all of that emotional drive, snapped away in a bipolar crash that left Undine reeling. Eyes blinked back to gold one after another. Waters crashed all around, the extent of the elemental’s control diminishing as she was returned to her base state.
Siena, however, could sustain her Unleash for much, much longer.
Undine raged against the inevitable. When the midnight elemental seized the moment, the water spirit tried her best to keep her at bay with tendrils and blasts of water, neither of which had the edge or speed to be a true threat to Siena now.
In a desperate gambit, Undine burst out of the eldritch mass she controlled, her human hand reaching for Siena’s arm. One grab was all she needed. Her hand closed in on the shadow spirit’s forearm.
Then stopped.
Siena pulled her high heel up, leaving behind the shadow dagger she had punched into the shadow of the slime’s arm. Liquid shadow moved to yank it out, but Siena carved her opponent out too fast for Undine to complete that plan. First, her true body was removed, leaving the rest of her watery form to collapse, then a multitude of strings of shadow and moonlight wrapped around her, binding her liquid form tight in ways that she could not simply flow from.
Undine gave it a couple of tries, but she was locked.
“I do love a final struggle,” Siena cooed.
The shadow spirit placed a claw between Undine’s breasts. As it trailed down the deep valley and further past the sculpted form of the slime’s nicely defined stomach, the midnight elemental’s digits reversed to their regular form.
Undine closed her eyes. Those on her face first, as she contemplated. Then, all others as well, her antlers reverting to deer-like, rather than the crown of amber stares atop a nest of coiling snakes that her agitated state brought forth.
She had lost. To struggle further would have been a petty attempt to get a cheap shot unbecoming of them.
Siena claimed her price hungrily. Her lips, full and soft, pressed on Undine’s just as two digits curled into her nethers. Long, dextrous tongues coiled around one another. An echo of the pride she had wielded kept Undine resisting until a pair of sharp fangs pinched her lower lip between them. The pain of the faux-succubus’ bite was pure and awakening, a tantalizing torment to truly close out the muted injuries of combat.
Undine let healing energy flow through the kiss as she tilted her head back, surrendering to the victor as the rules of the tournament decreed. The damage done to Siena’s form was repaired, breaks in her skin closing preventing more of the magically bound shadow from pouring through the gaps.
More and more, she awakened her erogenous areas. The privilege of choosing her own sensitive areas was put in service of Siena’s movements. Exactly where her temporary mistress worked her magic was where Undine chose to be receptive. The pleasure rose and rose, then spiked. Siena laughed into the kiss, breaking it for long enough to whisper, “I appreciate your… malleability,” before laying claim to her lips again. When next her tongue wrestled Undine’s into submission, the roof of the slime’s mouth was as sensitive as her clit.
The watchers mattered not, they never had. Undine cared not one bit whether she was watched, it did nothing to her enjoyment. Neither was she one to indulge deeply in being dominated, something that Siena knew very well. The dark Harmonia kept her loosely tied and at the mercy of her fingers. That was as far as their play went and Undine felt that care and understanding resonate in every loving smack of their lips.
The orgasm came swiftly, crashing down on her for all to see. Juices squirted from her swollen womanhood, a final rain upon this land ruined by their fight. The first gush of juices was just one of many. Siena knew not just how to dominate, it was her pride and joy to prolong every orgasm she caused until it reached the edge of being painful. Again and again, Undine convulsed within the bindings. When they and Siena’s fingers were suddenly gone, she collapsed into the puddle of her own legs.
“We’ll continue this upstairs,” Siena said and licked the juices off her fingers. “It’s not over until I hear your gorgeous screams.”
“What a terrible threat,” Undine remarked swooningly.
