The First Day

The next day we reached the dungeon early in the morning. Everyone else was already there waiting for us. We greeted each other and then proceeded inside the dungeon.

“This place looks scary.” Roxane said nervously as she looked around the dark cave.

“Don’t worry, we’ll be fine.” I assured her.

We walked deeper into the dungeon, killing several low level monsters along the way. Most of them were easy to defeat, but occasionally we would encounter stronger ones that required teamwork to take down. Hammond and his party seemed to have a good understanding of each other, which helped them take down the stronger monsters quickly. Eleanor and Kelvin were able to provide support from range, allowing us to focus on melee combat.

Suddenly we heard clattering from behind. It was an Ambush. We decided to rush in front in order to find a defensible position. Hammond was leading the charge and we followed him. Finally we reached a large chamber where we could regroup. There were many pillars scattered around the room. We hid behind them and prepared ourselves for battle.

Unfortunately the enemy numbers were too much. Roxane was in a dangerous predicaments. She was surrounded. Before I could rush to her help, Hammond who was nearby charged.

On the other side Eleanor who was separated from her brother was also in danger. I decided to save her as I Hammond was already with Roxane.

I ran towards her and managed to protect her. Hammond and Roxane however were **** to rush in other direction as they couldn't hold anymore. We both barely made it out of the chamber alive. I wanted to rush after Roxane but Eleanor stopped me.

"We need to continue forward." She said firmly.

"But Roxane..." I tried to object.

"We will find her. But we need to move forward. Hammond is a capable warrior. He will protect her."

I sighed and reluctantly agreed.
