Roxane and Hammond

Roxane and Hammond had been running through the dungeon for quite some time now. They had taken several wrong turns but eventually managed to find their way back onto the correct path. Now they were sitting down against a wall, taking a short break to catch their breath.

"Are you alright?" Hammond asked Roxane.

"Yes, thank you." Roxane answered politely. "How about you?"

Hammond nodded his head and pulled out a bottle of water from his backpack. He drank some of it and offered some to Roxane. She accepted gratefully and drank some too. They sat there in silence.

"I hope Shiro is okay.." Roxane said with a worried expression.

"He will be." Hammond said reassuringly. "He seems like a strong guy."

They continued walking for a while before coming across a small cavern with a lake. Hammond suggested setting up camp here for the night. Roxane agreed and they started building a fire.

After setting up the camp, Hammond removed his torn shirt and sat down. Roxane noticed his chiseled pecs. Hammond saw her staring and smiled.

"You like what you see?" He teased.

"Um, no, I mean..." Roxane blushed and turned away. Hammond laughed loudly.

"Don't worry, I don't mind. In fact, If you want I could show you from close." He offered.

"No Need " Roxane refused. She continued staring into the fire. Hammond looked disappointed for a second but then shrugged and continued drinking from his water bottle.

"You humans are weird." He mumbled. Roxane didn't respond and kept staring into the flames.

They made some preparations and decided to call it a night. Roxane took the first watch while Hammond slept. During Hammond's watch she slept with a dagger. The night ended without incident. In the morning they both woke up and started walking again.

They continued through the dungeon, defeating various monsters along the way. Hammond demonstrated his skills with an axe, easily killing several enemies at once. Roxane watched him admiringly.

"You're very strong." She commented.

Hammond smiled proudly. "Thanks. You're not bad yourself." He replied.

"I try my best." Roxane said humbly.

Their conversation was interrupted by the sound of footsteps. They looked up and saw two goblins approaching them. Hammond drew his axe and readied himself for battle.

The goblins attacked but Hammond easily deflected their blows with his shield. He retaliated by smashing his axe down on one of the goblins, killing it instantly. The other goblin ran away in fear.

"Was that necessary?" Roxane asked with a raised eyebrow.

Hammond shrugged his shoulders. "What? I thought you wanted me to show off." He said with a cheeky grin.

Roxane rolled her eyes and sighed. "Fine." She said resignedly.

Hammond laughed heartily and they continued walking.
