The First "Hypnotic" Demonstration Begins

Holly could not remember ever feeling as nervous and exposed as she did right now, and she wasn't even naked yet. There had been a couple of times she had been required to give presentations at work in front of her colleagues and she hadn't enjoyed those much. This was a room full of complete strangers, and the presentation was her. She was sat in front of her audience while they openly and unashamedly assessed her in silence.

She he had been asked to dress as if she were at work and wear glasses that she didn't actually need if she wasn't sitting at a computer screen, as if that made this look like an academic study of hypnosis and not the niche pornographic display these people would obviously be expecting for their money.

The room was almost completely plain and bare, as if nothing should distract from her role as the main and indeed only attraction. There were no windows, and the only exit had been internally locked by Dr Lewis once the full compliment of attendees had arrived and taken their seats,

Holly was almost relieved when the doctor walked over to introduce her, such was the awkwardness she was feeling while nothing was happening.

"Good evening everyone. This is Holly Petersen, and she, is in all of my years as a hypnotherapist, by far the most susceptible subject to hypnosis that I have ever encountered or even heard of. I know you will all be fascinated to observe and even interact with the incredible effect the power of suggestion has over her. But I'm sure you would rather hear from Holly herself. Now, before she introduces herself can you please show your appreciation for our very special guest"

The assembled group applauded while Dr Lewis handed Holly a tablet.

"Holly, you now have both a perfect photographic memory for text and the ability to speed read at around 25,000 words per minute, comparable to the current world record. I have prepared a speech for you, please read it to yourself now and let me know when you are done"

"Done" Holly announced seconds later having scrolled through a large wall of text.

"Okay Holly. in a moment I am going to ask you to present that text you have just read to our esteemed audience here, and you will do it confidently and professionally. Also, to demonstrate what you are willing to do while under hypnosis, you will present naked"

Holly stood up and undressed, far more like she was about to undertake a full body medical examination that if she were on stage at a strip club, and the crowd had obviously been told to watch respectfully and not to make a sound. Soon, it was like she was living an anxiety dream.

Nonetheless, she did indeed look confident and professional as she addressed the crowd, Dr Lewis having cleared away her chair and discarded clothing so there was nothing else for the audience to look at but her.

"Good evening, my name is Holly Petersen, and I have been placed under a deep and lasting hypnosis by Doctor Lewis, which means that I will do anything he tells me to after saying my name, including stripping naked, as you can see. You will be able to make me do anything you can think of this evening so long as it does not involve me harming myself or others. That includes things you would doubtless consider impossible, such is the power of Dr Lewis' hypnosis over me. That could involve giving me special abilities to demonstrate to you, such as the speed reading and photographic memory feats that you have already witnessed this evening"

"To be clear, I am not an adult actress or performer. I work as a team leader for the sales department of a local tech firm. If they were to discover that I am here performing like this for you, my expectation is that my contract with them would be terminated. There will be no special effects during this demonstration. As you can see, there is only me here in front of you and I am completely uncovered. Everything you will see tonight is a result of the almost unbelievable power of hypnosis."

"Finally, I think it is important to let you know I do not wish to be here. I also do not wish to be naked in front of you. Just because I appear confident in my nudity, it doesn't mean that I am not feeling deeply embarrassed. I understand that knowledge may heighten the enjoyment some of you will get from what follows. Now, with all that said, I believe we are ready to begin"
