The Citadel

“I guess I’d better go to the Citadel,” Shepard said as she punched into the system. “Take us there, Joker.”

“Roger that,” Joker said over the intercom

“Oh and Commander, I’d like to do field work this time around. Now that the Reapers are out of the way, I think it’d be fun to get my feet wet,” Samantha said.

“Aren’t you supposed to be a Yeoman?” Shepard teased.

“Yes, but I remind you I singlehandedly helped take back the Normandy when the other you took over,” Samantha said. “I think I’ve earned my spot on your little pow wow.”

“Okay, Traynor. You make a good point. I guess I’ll bring you and EDI to the Citadel with me. We can find Miranda and maybe for once there will be no extra steps.”

“Should I tell you the likelihood of that?” Samantha asked.

“No,” Shepard said. “I’m well aware.”

Joker landed into the Docking Bay as he was cleared and EDI, Shepard, and Samantha made their way off of the Normandy. “Shepard, Miss Lawson was last seen in the apartments. I suggest we try there first.”

“Got it,” Shepard said as she approached the rapid transport station and clicked the Apartments.

The women entered the cab as it took them to the apartments. They approached Apartment 4B, the last place Miranda was seen.

Shepard opened the door and her eyes widened at what she saw.
