The Bravos press on and find a city, hidden in the side of a canyon

Liv sighed as the group pressed onward. Emmaline gave her a small shrug of condolence as the group seemed to be largely ignoring her protest. They continued on for quite some time, relying mostly on Becky's tracking ability, with some small spells from Robin to help illuminate the path, or clear sticks and branches out of its way when necessary. Eventually they reached a point where the didn't much need to follow the trail any longer. The scattered sets of footprints they had been following coalesced with dozens of other sets, then with more and more, possibly hundreds.

"I guess we found it" Emmaline said, as the trees began to thin out. They stepped forward from the treeline to find themselves overlooking a massive gorge, carved out of the jungle, reaching down quite a ways, a river running through the middle, though its size was impossible to tell from all the way up here.

The walls were lined with structures. For the most part, they were small fairly simply constructed buildings of mud, sticks and massive leaves from the larger jungle trees. Though there were a few larger structures, likely community buildings of some sort, and very, very sparsely sprinkled throughout, they could see a handful of grand, stone buildings, apparently erected by expert masons.

Small humanoid shapes of various colors were moving around as well, carrying food and supplies between buildings, working on structures, climbing long ladders between different levels. As Liv raised her rifle, using the lens for a better look, she confirmed what many of the others suspected. "They're Lizardfolk, alright. And a damn lot of them."

The Bravos stared, most of them in awe. In all their years growing up and especially the time that they had been briefed on this mission, nobody has suspected the Lizardfolk had some sort of secret civilization out here--much less one of this caliber!
