The Awful Truth

Julianne’s facial expression changed between a mixture of anger and despair, which gave Mel and even Lexie great pause. “This can’t be real…Lexie, please tell me this isn’t the old hideout…”

Lexie still angry but also concerned for Julianne now, “You’re damn right it is, Julianne! Barbie prohibited us from ever coming here and look where that prick from NA led us too. Cmon, we need to get inside.”

Mel was the only rational thinker and said, “Ladies, wait a moment…this is enemy territory. I don’t think they just let us waltz right in there.”

Lexie said, “There’s a back entrance they don’t know about so stay low, quiet and keep close. We need to see what the fuck is going on. Goddamnit Barbie, you traitorous bitch!”

Julianne sighed and said, “I knew something was off about Barbie. I guess I was blinded by Jenny’s hopeless optimism and trust in her until the end…Cmon ladies! We need to get in there and find the evidence on that traitorous cunt!”

Lexie put an arm around Julianne and said, “Well well well! I’m loving this new side to you, Julie! Where has she been this whole time? We might have been best friends if you were more like this.”

Julianne said, “This is my normal personality that I repress on the daily, Lexie. Having witnessed so much betrayal and deceit since coming out here with Jenn, I just decided to be emotionless bitch. The final straw was today so let’s get what we need and string her up by her fake ass tits.”

Lexie could not have been anymore proud as Mel was the one feeling like the odd woman out. Mel said, “Ladies, get it together! Do we really want to risk any of us getting caught? The mission was just to track him back here. It was never to actually get inside. I get that we all want to take down Barbie but your safety is my top priority.”

Lexie could see Mel was stone cold serious and could see the tears starting to build. Mel brought her into chest and said, “Look at me, babe. I am not putting any of at risk. The moment we sense trouble we skedaddle and get back to the mall.”

Julianne also came to reassure her and said, “Mel, we appreciate your levelheadedness in all of this. We don’t want to risk Barbie moving evidence that we can use to finally incriminate her.”

Mel grunted and said, “Fineeeee…any trouble and we split, got it?” They both nodded as Lexie picked the door open. The three girls got themselves inside and began their trek up the back staircase that looked like it was used mostly for storage do the amount of dust on the boxes. They got to the door at the top of the stairwell as Julianne peered in. She spoke softly, “Let me go in by myself quickly since I know where the intel was kept. Lexie, you wouldn’t know too much about this place since you had only seen pictures of it. If something goes wrong, I want you to get out of here and forget…”

Lexie said, “Fuck that, Julie! I am fighting every fucker in here and dragging you out of here. Mel will back me up too.

Mel nodded and said, “Get what you can and get out of there. We don’t want Barbie being alerted that we were actually checking out this place.”

Julianne popped the door open slightly and squeezed through as Lexie made sure it didn’t make a noise. Julianne saw about half a dozen agents working at their stations but all seemed preoccupied. She noted the man that they had been trailing was in a work station and chatting with a coworker. This was absolutely perfect for her to sneak past them as she got on all fours and made for the room that Barbie had called her office. It was still well furnished as she quietly discovered the door unlocked and snuck inside. She looked on the desk and found the thing she needed. It was Barbie’s old laptop and it was unlocked. She accessed her old emails and saw everything she needed:

Girls are in place and compliantly raising scores. Jennifer and the others should be joining Naked Forever within the day. Chantelle and Julianne are proving to be more difficult, but they will be on track soon. I will update with more info.

Julianne snapped a picture of it on her phone and found the most important email:

We have been compromised. Jennifer has found out I was responsible for the Naked Forever. I will suggest she tell her twin Julianne that I am to be trusted and not the rat since her score is above 75%. Blame was pinned on one of the other glitches defecting for an opportunity to get back her clothes. We will regroup once we have more glitches. Successful transfer of three women was completed to Naked Forever. Moving to new location and will reach out when more glitches are added to the team.

Julianne felt her heart ache from this email as she took a picture and now knew Jenn’s last words were just a lie. She thought about taking the whole laptop but figured the new owner of this laptop would realize someone was here. She put everything back the way it was and quickly made her way back to the exit. She had gotten out perfectly as the man they had pursued was finishing up his conversation and heading back to the office Julianne was just in.

She quickly but quietly was back at the stairwell. Lexie looked excited and said, “What did you find? Hopefully something to incriminate the bitch.”

Mel urged them down the stairs and said, “Let’s talk bout this later. We got to get this car back to the mall and get an Uber back home.”

Julianne was still shocked but said, “It’s time to dethrone the traitorous whore for all of her lies and for what she did to Jenn and those poor women.”

They were back in the car in the few minutes as Lexie got them back to the mall and the Uber was right there waiting. Lexie spoke angrily, “We are all on the menu for this bitch, aren’t we? Fuck we need to get back quickly and make sure none of the other girls haven’t agreed to Naked Forever.” She yelled at the driver, “Can’t you go any faster, dude? People’s lives are stake.”

Mel had wished her hunch about Barbie was wrong but it seemed like she had a good feeler for those that were actually bad people. She leaned back as the car accelerated to the mansion and hoping that removing Barbie would bring an end to this for all of the glitches.
