Things Fall Apart

There was a huge sense of relief when Chantelle and Sophie returned to the mansion with there having been serious concerns over the well-being of the latter in particular. Only Team Badass were still unaccounted for but it had been anticipated they would be last to return due to the nature of their particular mission.

"What happened?" Lucy asked as the whole of the room swarmed around their two comrades offering hugs and expressing their relief.

"Thank God you made it back!" Abigail told Sophie emotionally as she held her body tightly against her, seemingly not wanting to let go.

"Sorry we're late. We were getting tailed so we had to take a lengthy detour until we were absolutely sure we were clear." Chantelle claimed.

"Thank fuck for Chantelle's skills behind the wheel, they were really hard to shake off." Sophie lied as commanded.

"Sophie, do you want to tell the group what you were told by the NA guy?" Chantelle prompted.

"Well, I don't think he realised I was going to be able to escape and he started telling me stuff to gloat," Sophie began. "He said there was an informant here, one of the glitches."

"What? Did he say who?" Maggie demanded to know.

"Well he gave them a nickname but it made no sense..." Chantelle added.

"What was it?" Leilani asked curiously "Maybe it will make sense to one of us?"

Sophie was about to divulge that information when Team Badass stormed back into the mansion, led by a raging Lexie.

"I want the porn sluts head! She’s the fucking rat!" Lexie fumed.

"Whoa there! Let's calm down a little and discuss this rationally,” Chantelle urged, wanting to display neutrality.

"Fuck that, I'll kill the cunt myself!" Julianne screamed.

"Please stop this, I'm not a rat!" Barbie looked rattled. If Julianne had turned against her then whoever was setting her up was doing a formidable job. Assuming it was Chantelle…it was probably best not to try and call her out here and now. She was probably several moves behind already.

"NA is operating out of our old base. But we got in and got all the proof we need. I can't believe I was friends with the person who..." Julianne was unable to continue that thought without breaking down.

"No wonder Barbie was able to get us this mansion, it's probably full of NA cameras," Lexie added.

"We did a check for cameras on the first day," Chantelle reminded her.

"It wasn't exactly a thorough one though was it, since we were all playing beach volleyball and doing Barbie's rewards and punishments," Mel added, though she was considerably less forceful in tone than her two teammates.

"Okay, how about this? I'll go do another sweep now," Chantelle offered. "Y'all keep your heads. Innocent until proven guilty, remember?"

"So what was the code name you were given?" Leilani repeated her question from earlier to Sophie.

"Codename?" Melanie asked having missed that part of the conversation.

"The guy who got hold of Sophie, before she escaped he told her there was a rat and gave her a name neither she or Chantelle could make sense of," Leilani explained.

"Banghard…" Sophie answered, pretending to look confused. There was a short silence then..

"Barbie Banghard!" Tina remembered "That was Barbie's old porn name when she started out, right? Man, my boyfriend back then was like a die-hard fan.

"I am going to fucking kill you, bitch!" Lexie threatened as Melanie was barely able to restrain her while Julianne didn't bother to.

"I'm being set up, you have to believe me!" was all Barbie could say in response.
