Melanie wasn't sure what wasn't right about her life but deep down she knew she was unhappy. On the surface it looked like she was doing pretty well for herself. She had a well paid job, a loving boyfriend and a loyal and trusted group of friends. As she approached her 30th birthday Melanie knew she should be satisfied with where she was in life but couldn't shake a nagging feeling that she only had one life and could be doing more with it. What if she had been more ambitious in her career choices and less willing to settle in her relationship?

Melanie was intrigued. She still had no idea what the Naked Ambition programme actually entailed but the blurb hit all the right notes for her and it was claiming to be free, assuming she was considered eligible. She figured there was no harm in trying and downloaded the app there and then. She opened it and filled in a few basic details of herself before being asked to provide a current full body photo. That threw her a little, but she was fully clothed and she couldn't see any harm in it. She took a shot of herself in the mirror and uploaded it. Seconds later she was met with an applause sound effect and the following message:

Congratulations Miss Jones! You are a perfect candidate for our life enhancing Naked Ambition programme. This service will be provided to you completely free of charge. All we ask is you respond to this applications requests for updates on your progress. Please check and agree to our terms and conditions so we can proceed with our life changing service immediately!

Eager to see what happened next Mel scrolled quickly through the text without reading, as she would normally do, hit the big green button to confirm her consent and, shortly afterwards, let out a horrified squeal.

"What the fuck!"

Melanie jumped up from the bed she had been sitting on in disbelief at the sudden realisation the clothes she had been wearing moments earlier had vanished from her body, leaving her totally naked. That wasn't possible, surely? She looked back at her phone to be met with a simple, explanatory phrase.

Welcome to your naked life!

Instinctively Melanie rushed to her bedroom door where her dressing gown was hanging and pulled it around her bare body only to gasp in horror as it quickly disappeared in front of her own eyes, leaving her completely exposed again. She dashed back to her phone and scanned the app for any way to undo this entirely unwanted effect. The best she could see was an immediate request for feedback on her experience so far. She hurriedly typed out something along the lines of enforced nudity being the last thing she wanted as help alongside a demand for her clothing, and even more importantly her ability to wear them, to be returned immediately. The almost instant response she received made her heart sink even further.

There was no advice on how to get this number up or what criteria she was being measured on. But until she figured out how to hit the target that had been given to her it seemed she was stuck in the buff. This was totally fucked. She had work tomorrow. What was she going to do?
