You don't know what to choose at first. All the options seem amazing, especially the ability to combine more than one. However, you soon realize that this is your first time trying this, and despite all the information your guests have passed on to you, you still don't know the possible results.

You end up choosing the technological path. It is not only supposed to give you knowledge about advanced technology but also contains the necessary theories and science accumulated from various worlds. Hopefully this will allow you to decide better in the future.

There is no verbal answer, but there is a physical one. You start to feel a strange tingling all over your body, like little cramps and tingling all over. At first you don't understand what is happening, but soon you realize that the nanomachines are spreading throughout your body and connecting to your central nervous system. The floating screen in front of you vanishes as if it never existed, but is no longer needed, because the information is there. It's part of your brain now.

Now you know that the system still does not have enough power. There aren't enough nanomachines inside you yet either, they need to replicate. Although to be able to do that, they need matter or energy, resources that they are getting from your body for now, but there is a limit to what they can do without compromising your biology, at least for the moment.

The air you exhale every time you take a breath is devoid of nanomachines. Neither does any bodily fluid, except your blood, contain them. At the very least, they're efficient, so they haven't disrupted any of your important biological systems yet, even if they could be a source of useful resources and energy. To do that they would have to alter your biology, and before they do that, many more nanomachines are needed.

Your entire body needs to be scanned first, and every organ and tissue that is altered must continue to function, so the process must be very slow and the nanomachines need to maintain life support while it happens.

So, in short, they still can't harvest your body for resources, not without destroying or altering it. Therefore, you need to accumulate a lot of nutrients first. Mainly glucose, since it is the easiest organic component to break down.
